The Limes Cafe - Bilsthorpe - Photo album

Food, speed and service are all very quick. It's a cheap and cheerful truck-stop cafe, big breakfast served in super time. Prices are very reasonable. Maybe not the place to take a hot date but for gut busting breakfast or just beans on toast I would recommend this place.
Its Been a few years since we last had food there ,I found the mushrooms rather grease but you cannot please everyone, overall the breakfast was quiet nice. The service was excellent and the staff polite. Atmosphere was nice and quiet if you wanted to talk. Very clean tables & floor Would I go again
This place is a lovely little old fashioned type of roadside café/truck stop, that you really just don't see enough of anymore. Which is a shame! It's located just off the main road, there is a very large car park where the cafe is located. I can only comment on the breakfast as that is what I orde
Proper caff in the best sense of the word. Always busy, which says a lot. Friendly staff, great food with a variety of dishes and good tea. Thoroughly recommend this place and I use it even when it's sometimes out of my way
Stopped here on a Saturday at mid day was very busy and had to wait a minute or two for a table. We had full English breakfast which was tasty. Not too keen on the sausages but that's a matter of taste and the fried eggs were a little overcooked but it didn't spoil the overall experience. At £4.40
Service is really good with great food and steaming hot and plenty of it. There is a little garden area if you want to eat outside great cup of tea and banana milk shake. Would definitely use again.
Used to love coming here, but after today I'm unsure, the meat was delicious, the veg was barely warm and the potatoes, they ran out of Yorkshire pudding and was told they would tell us when they were ready, that didn't happen, and I think the price has rocketed through the roof!!! It used to be a r
Tasty hot food friendly service. This is a first visit but I know I will be back. The food is well prepared.
Lovely cooked breakfast but didn't enjoy the sausages. Wouldn't put me off going again because everything else was so nice.
Lovely roadside café. We both had a standard breakfast @ £7.00 each. Wasn't at all greasy, the fried eggs were cooked lovely not hard at all. Fried bread was perfect, not dripping in fat. Will definitely be back.
Excellent food choices, good value and good food. Friendly service
Been excellent transport cafe since I visited with my grandad in the 1970's. Its self service and all the staff were friendly as good expect. Sunday lunch was good and cheap too when we went.
First went here 55 years ago when I was an apprentice electrician, and it's still here ( staff have changed, though 😁) top marks for sausage cobbs and full breakfast, carpark is ok for cars but a bit hairy for motorbike, you have to drive & park very carefully.
This is a real traditional English diner and truck park. Hot food, drink whatever you want... (not expensive, but cheap) 👍😉👌
Good value for money breakfast,I had the large breakfast, but as I am not a greedy person and had the buffet which would have been about 50p more, and many people would have left most of it..... eyes bigger than the belly,i was satisfied with what I had, also Very pleasant lady serving.
Absolute value for money buffet breakfast! Plain and simple roadside dining experience nothing more to ask for before a 2 hour journey back to the north west.
Popped in for some tea and toast but ended up having the buffet for a tenner! Only managed two trips up to the buffet though. Good quality food, particularly the bacon which was lovely. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.
Today was my first visit to Lime's. It was highly recommended and it lived up to its recommendation. I had a build your own breakfast with a decaf Tea. The staff, quality of produce and service were excellent, as was the price 👍 Thank you
