Liked this place more for the setting than the food.nothing memorable about the meal although we had a lovely walk along the canal after! Worth popping to for an ice cream or pint.

Very good for car parking lovely clean bathrooms Plenty to choose from we went for the course special for £17.95. Started with black pudding with cream spinach and bacon. I went for the smoke salmon with water cress and a large slice of granary bread Then It was special of the day fish which was swordfish with assorted vegetables The other half had the braised beef in a red wine sauce along with assorted vegetables all washed down with a house wine very nice .

2nd visit in six months even though we live in Spain. Great location and surroundings and exceptional value for money. All dishes tried superb. Check out the chunks of beef on the beef sandwich !!!! Massive.

Guy's Eating Establishment Restaurant & Pizzeria is situated within Guy's Thatched Hamlet in a lovely location next to the Lancaster Canal. There is ample parking available. The restaurant is Italian and has a good variety on the menu. The staff greeting you as you enter are professional and friendly, although once seated we waited a very long time before our order was taken. When the food was brought to us there was no communication from the young waiter, he just plonked the food down in front of us and walked off!!! The food in general though was actually very tasty. Nice environment, good food, just lacking better customer service.

Lovely atmosphere and food here. I feel like the standard is not what it once was but still a very good option.

Lovely home cooked food. Very welcoming and friendly. Lots of nice little snug bars and places to sit making the whole place feel cosy even though it is very big. I haven't stayed in the rooms but definitely plan to next trip, it will make a nice change from the premier Inn over the road.

Wow! Been here many times before, even celebrated two of our children's 21st here and not had any issues. Recently read some not nice things about Guy's, but you shouldn't believe all you read. We went for lunch, 3 of us, there were other people dining too. We were seated by Ernesto and between him and his staff we were well looked after. Nothing to much trouble, friendly and clean. Still would recommend Guy's to anyone in the area and definitely worth a visit. Excellent value for money and outstanding service in a charming restaurant

This restaurant is situated within Guy's Thatched Hamlet. There is plenty of free parking available here. The restaurant has a nice, casual and laid back vibe but is quite family oriented so probably not so good for a romantic meal! The menu is mostly Italian dishes and the food is very sensibly priced. The food we had was very good but the service was somewhat patchy, some good some very poor, especially several of the younger wait staff. This was a shame because apart from that, I would have given it a 5.

The restaurant was beautiful, really relaxed atmosphere. The food was great, fast service. The staff were friendly and welcoming. 👌 Overall a really nice place to visit for food and drinks, or even just a walk along the canal. 💞

Really upped game after poor hygiene score a few months ago. We did hesitate going again but had always enjoyed previously. Food was fantastic, piping hot and plenty of it. Fully recommend 2 course lunch offer

Really enjoyed the food here on a getaway to Lancashire. Both seabass and pizza were great and the wine selection was really good. Would definitely come back. Great portions too and staff were friendly.

Beautiful authentic family restaurant, complete with signature suspended railway that trundles around the roof space. Clearly freshly prepared and hand made food. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the food was (and always has been in my previous experiences) served hot. Loads of choice on the menu, plenty of various specials.

Gorgeous restaurant with quirky decor. Had the Garlic Mushrooms then the Pappardelle al Porcini and both were amazing. Restaurant was packed which is testament to the quality of food on offer. Servers were fantastic. Recommend 😊

31st wedding anniversary, went for lunch. Food was top quality, service impeccable, dined on top veranda, out of beating sun. Felt as though we were in Italy for more than a few moments. Fish (Hake) was exceptional. Thank you Guy's for making our day. The best, thank you. Peter and Andrea xx

Great atmosphere, a good menu but the pizzas are exceptional. Cask ales too for those real ale fans amongst us
