Whispers Cafe and gift shop, recently refurbished to a very high standard this village Cafe offers a wide range of freshly cooked meals, cakes and snacks, currently offering “Gala” pie as a special!.. all freshly prepared using local ingredients by friendly attentive staff, portions are large and value for money. The seating area is clean, warm and inviting with plenty of room. There is also outside seating which is partially covered, located next to a large car park it is easily accessible. Highly recommended for all to enjoy.
My first time here. The food was tasty and service was excellent. This was a pleasant dining experience for the four of us.
Visited today for lunch with my husband. It was fine but nothing outstanding. Pleasant enough, lots of seating, cakes, sandwiches. When we walked in I thought it looked lovely but the cafe park isn't as nice as the shop.
Jacket spud was nice and salad but the skin was soggy.. my husband had a salmon and cream cheese sandwich which had lots of salmon but not so much cream cheese.
Staff seemed pleased and the food arrived quickly.
We had a nice lunch but nothing special.
Just finished a lovely breakfast here at Whispers and felt I had to leave a review, firstly the whole place is spotless, staff friendly and helpful, food well cooked, well presented and of excellent quality.
Was made to feel welcome, lovely atmosphere too. what more does one need.
Meet a friend for breakfast here. Staff were very friendly, and catered for our individual needs and diets (Vegan). Would definitely recommend anyone to call in for a bite to eat or just a drink.
Wow! I've tried their chicken mayo sandwich as well as the breakfast sandwich on 2 different occasions. The chicken mayo was more filling then bread and the best I've had. The breakfast sandwich was egg and at least 3 pork bangers. Delish, Delish!
It's become my favourite breakfast cafe in between Care Work.
Amazing first class breakfast. Everything cooked to perfection even the eggs. Our first visit but definitely not our last. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you

First, a warm friendly welcome, and pleasant and airy cafe. Staff was very accomodating to a special request from partner.
Secondly, Food was of highest quality and freshness you could taste. Would recommend worth a visit or stop if en route. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
Went with friends at their recommendation. Superb. Friendly service, hood prices, lovely inside as well as a few seats outside. We’ll be back
