Attended a family wedding here on 25th August 2018, fantastic day, never beem been here before, heard it was a lovely place with beautiful grounds and we weren't disappointed. Communal rooms downstairs are very stately looking with beautiful decor and big high ceilings, food was masterchef standard and very tasty. We were lucky enough to be able to stay overnight after the wedding ceremony and our room was lovely, the poshest place I've ever stayed in, everything you could think of was provided and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we forgot toothbrushes and toothpaste so room service provided us with them at no extra cost, would definitely recommend Wynyard Hall for a special occasion.
Me and my friend had an amazing day today! Thanks to the wonderful staff, the fantastic massage, prosecco in the hot tub and afternoon tea. Can't recommend you enough. We will be back for more.
Arrived late last night very tired after a long hard day in London ... imagine my delight in finding such a splendid place and such lovely staff. Added to that the care shown to my husband who is coeliac was so very good ... a little package of gluten free biscuits in our room and breakfast staff who had been briefed in advance.
Sadly we are only here for one day ... but we are already planning to return for a long weekend!
Wynyard hall is a fabulous venue. Been here for afternoon tea and meals a few times and most recently had the best day of my life their celebrating my wedding. The whole day was perfect staff were fantastic. Brilliant would do it all again in a heartbeat. Would recommend wynyard hall to anyone.

The most amazing place in earth. I would live there if I could. I held my daughters wedding there in 2012 and it was the best day of my life.
Went for a spa day for my birthday with my mam , our experience was an amazing one , we stayed the whole day had afternoon tea , had various treatments was the perfect day and would highly recommend it to anyone .
Went here with 8 of my friends for afternoon tea, the service was very good the staff couldn't have been nicer, it was the mad hatter themed tea for Easter which was presented beautifully, the cocktails were just lovely and also in with the theme. The one thing we all said was a few more sandwiches would have been nice as there was a lot of sweet, the scones were still warm and delicious. Will defiantly recommended to others and be back.
Thanks to everyone at Wynyard Hall for making my grandfathers 100th birthday celebration a very special occasion for all of us. Particular thanks to Emma and Hannah for making us feel so welcome. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

I recently attended the most incredible wedding I will probably ever go to at Wynyard Hall. The night before the wedding, guests were invited to a magical secret garden party, set in the centre of ornate rose bushes and fountains, just by the Glass House restaurant. We danced with a live band, ate the most exquisite barbecue I’ve ever eaten and watched the sunset on the happy couple. For the wedding day the Hall itself is incredible, standing in all its grandeur surrounded by pristine grounds, a breathtaking setting. The food throughout the day was a treat for the palette and pleasantly presented at every course. The staff were attentive, friendly and to hand on all occasions.
Other amazing wedding weekend opportunities included use of the spa the day before the wedding for friends and family of the bride, as well as an incredible buffet breakfast the morning after.
I stayed in the main hall where the rooms, I believe, have been refurbished tastefully in keeping with the heritage of the hall, while maintaining their character. A cosy haven, with large comfy beds and relaxing bathrooms.
I cannot fault Wynyard Hall and it’s clear understanding of what makes a dream wedding day. What a surreal and magical weekend it was! I hope to be invited back soon.
Had an incredible stay at Wynyard Hall for a friend’s wedding. Amazing venue with such history and heritage, yet it retains an immense amount of character. Food/drink of a very high quality. Views out from the back are beautiful. Above all, the staff were very kind, friendly and helpful to ensure our stay was as positive as possible. Couldn’t recommend enough.

We attended a wedding in July - WHAT A WEDDING, WHAT A VENUE. The food was phenomenal, staff were so accommodating, overall it was a weekend we won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
The estate is beautifully kept and rooms were outstanding. It’s natural beauty takes your breath away when you look our the windows.
I attended the Teesside Hospice Dragonfly launch at the walled garden on Sunday 10/09/2023. The display of dragonflies in memory of the passing of loved ones was set out brilliantly and the walled garden was the perfect setting.
Afterwards we had afternoon tea in the hall. The tea was excellent but what made it special was the service provided by the staff. I am in my 70s and have eaten out a great deal over the years but can say that the service we received was the best that I have ever experienced. All of the staff were caring, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was clear that they enjoy their work and are proud of the high standards of customer care and service they provide. Please pass on my thanks to the staff including the 2 ladies at reception.
We went for afternoon tea and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious savory and sweet treats. The service was first class throughout just the decor and paintwork in the room we were in needs some attention. A lovely experience.
We stayed in dukeswood cottage and it was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. We also used the spa which although small was lovely and our lunch in the spa was delicious. I honestly can’t find any negatives. We’ve booked to come back in November and can’t wait.
Give Wynyard Hall a go! It's a beautiful building and a great call for a meal, afternoon tea or a visit to their walled garden. Our little boy with complex needs loves the gardens as they are sensory with the smells of all the beautiful roses, lavender and other great plants.
Probably the best coffee in the area. Make sure you get there early for cakes, and the 'drum' salads are excellent. Surroundings and approaches, stunning.
Attended my cousin's wedding here in June 2023. Venue is best, location is best, rooms are also classy. Just Some issues with the accessibility to some rooms and places within this venue

We just popped in for a cup of tea and a scone. The gardens are gorgeous, lovely, fresh baked food, served by friendly smiles.
5 stars. Everything about the lunch event we attended was absolutely first class. Fantastic location, professional service from all the staff involved.

Went for a wedding you couldnt fault anything the food was fantastic, location and scenery were exceptional bedroom immaculate. Only thing tht let this place down was the breakfast yes the full english was presented nice but it lacked flavour. Sausages and black pudding had no flavour bacon and eggs were ok nothing to write home about and the pot of tea tasted as if the water hadn't been boiled long enough. But all in all had a great experience.
Service was slow but it was very busy. Began to run out of food at one point. Food lovely in walled gardens cafe
Had a lovely relaxing 2 hours today at the spa girls made us so welcome ..will be going back again
