The perfect little excursion if you need an airy, peaceful and charming little escape. We went for the high tea menu (pictured). It has choices of tea, filter coffee and juice. The reserved space is delightful with an array of books and rose print designs. The staff are lovely and very attentive. It
Popped in for brunch on Sunday. The Special is great value with a full English, toast and coffee/tea. Recommended.
Gorgeous little village café with lovely food. The festive turkey, cranberry, and stuffing baguette was nice and fresh, and had a tasty homemade mince pie to top it off. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive too. Looking forward to coming again soon 😄
We really enjoyed our toasties and tea, followed by cake and more tea! The menu is extensive and the staff friendly. We will be back. Definitely recommend
Such a quaint little place, lovely service. A bit on the pricey side at £5+ a sandwich. Tea was absolutely gorgeous mind you, as was the sandwiches. Sat near the radiator mind you and it's boiling hot!
Very nice little tea room with an out door area.
Best cream tea, 5+, loved it!
Super fresh scones and super tasty (they melt in the mouth :-))
Great venue especially when sunny in gardern. Breakfast bap and cookie dough cAke was superb, loads of flavours.
I met a few friends here for the afternoon tea on a Sunday and it was absolutely brilliant. The home-made cakes were really lovely and the tea room had a lovely atmosphere. It was very busy but we felt well looked after!
Quaint, lovely, and charming. This is tea house and its location feel like they are out of a storybook. Charmingly decorated inside with a lot of nick-nacks you can buy, as well as a lovely garden and outside seating area. The prices are pretty reasonable, and the meals prepared are simple and tasty
It's always a treat to go somewhere and be served instead of having to stand in a long queue. The service was welcoming and friendly even though there was a hoard of cyclists from all over the area. The drinks were hot and the food came promptly.
First time today we went there and were delighted with it.Friendly people great service, very cosy with a lovely vintage style.Food was excellent, a great menu with so much to choose from.I would recommend it anyone who adores tea rooms.
been coming here for many years and each time I have been treated very well here and the staff have always been the best
Lovely Vintage cosy atmosphere in an old Southill estate cottage. The menu is traditional and they cater for gluten free and dairy free intolerances. I love the dairy and gluten free Victoria Sandwich cake, however my husband loves their scones. Best for a ploughman's lunch or tea in the beautiful c
I enjoyed our visit as the service was quick and the coffee and cake fabulous. We sat out in the lovely garden. Another positive was the cycle parking racks in the front. Recommended.
Southill tea rooms is my go to if I fancy a nice lunch out and about. It's especially charming when it's a nice sunny day to sit in the garden. Great food, great service and a great setting. Definitely 5 stars!
Stopped here on a 100km cycle ride and this place had exactly what I needed. Scummy cake and sausage bap. Staff were super friendly and more than happy to fill a water bottle. Great place!
