I have been here a few times, and it's a lovely pub/restaurant. Great atmosphere as always so busy. The food it delicious. I would definitely recommend this place
We have been coming here for some time . To be fair the past year or so hasn’t been up to their normal standards. But our last two visits have been exceptionally good. The food has improved significantly as have the portions(this has been lacking in the past). I’m guessing there is a new chef and to
Hands down the best Sunday roast, family/baby/children friendly pub lunch in the area! Ample parking, warm and cosy, ambience, clean and spacious washroom, friendly and helpful staff. Most importantly, well executed roast with trimmings and unlimited gravy. The choices for kids are outstanding, good
The Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Here is a picture of the Pie of the day (Chicken) which my daughter loved. My wife & I had the Lasagna which was lovely. Always very good food here.
We celebrated a birthday family meal which was delicious. Nina and her colleagues made a fuss of my mother in law, making sure she was served first and making sure our meals were as we expected. The team brought out our cake and sang her happy birthday. Food was yummy, pizza, seabass, rib eye and f
Well managed and popular. Far better that it was a few years ago. The food is good and appropriately priced. Staff are friendly and efficient. Although orders are taken quickly and efficiently the main course was just a little slow coming out. Overall whilst it's not outstanding it is a good place t
We pre-booked the Aperfield Inn for a wake for over 60 guests. The buffet food was plentiful and tasty and the staff were very helpful and had set up an area for us inside the pub. As the weather was good we had spilled out onto the comfortable patio. We purchased drinks separately and there was no

I'm new to the area and this pub was recommended to me. The food was amazing and so was the service. The ribeye steak was delicious!
What a lovely and friendly restaurant, first time here, I been with my friend, she's a regular customer and she told me that she came to this restaurant since when was a teenager and she love it like I love it too. The food was outstanding, I had a lentil lasagne, absolutely delicious, for pudd
More staff needed I think. I appreciate it was quite busy at the time of our visit, but we waited a LONG time for our food, our coffee's after. One member of staff apologised but as I said, I think the pub was understaffed and would make me think twice about booking again. We also had elderly
I was impressed with the welcoming, banter and generally being looked after by the Team. Especially Sarah and Chloe. The place was spotless. Happy Customer.
Enjoyable lunch. Good food. Well prepared and presented. Salt and pepper squid, in a crisp batter, tasty but could have done with a bit more salt and pepper and a more generous helping of aioli. Kedgeree haddock fish cakes could have done with more fish and less rice but nicely flavoured and crisp.
Came for a late lunch the kitchen was about to close but they said if we get our order in quickly they could accommodate us which they did. Nice meal we all had something different from the menu and we were all satisfied 😌
