Stopped off on way back to Edinburgh, ordered fish and chips absolutely superb quality fish 2 big halves of white flaky haddock in a crispy batter cost £10.45 but fresh fish is expensive nowadays big portions worth every penny will definitely return.
Fantastic fish and chips, sausage, battered haggis, pies etc (although no gravy available) they also do pizzas. Prices are great and portions are large too. Would definitely visit again and send to be very popular.
Fish and chips. For me the best in the local area. Even beats the shop in Anstruther, In my opinion. We will be back soon.... Our order was cooked fresh and was piping hot. Brilliant....

It was among the best fish and chips I've ever had in Scotland! The fish was flaky and fresh, and the chips were cooked to perfection. Additionally, it was prepared at the proper temperature by a welcoming staff. It would become a regular if it were closer.
Stopped in on our way back to Dumfries after spending our day at Edinburgh zoo. My late father always said the chip shop in Bigger was outstanding. But has been many years since we came through this way and iam so glad we did, the portion size,the quality of the food was fantastic 😊 I had the fish supper which was 2 pieces of battered fish and chips. The batter was so crispy and the fish was so succulent and the chips were the best I have had in a long time. Absolutely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I would of paid more for what we got!!!
