Really loved our visit here. Lots of delicious food options. The breakfast was really nice. The staff were friendly and proficient. There is also a little shop here with lots of unique things like books and toys and other gifts. Even found some bottles of Gin. Good toilet facilities. Good place for lovers to meet when they should be at work but slinking off for a day of naughty fun.

Easily one of the nicest Mac and cheeses I’ve ever had. Creamy, cheesy, and a hint of mustard with a lovely crisp top. Service was excellent. It’s such a good cafe, the range of drinks and snacks is great. There’s also a selection of gifts. Always stop here when I am passing.

Having driven past BRB numerous times I finally visited today to get out of the rain. A lovely cafe/coffee shop. Smaller than it looks from the outside but I gather during the summer they have use of extra outside space and an outside sales point. Beautiful food and wonderful service. Not cheap but very good value and very tasty. Busy with what I took to be regular customers, always a good sign I think. Plenty of parking and access to adjacent woodland walks. A small selection of gifts and local foodstuffs. Ladies and Gents toilets, very clean and we'll presented. I had the macaroni cheese, which was one of the nicest I've had in years, and an oat and date slice. The slice was a bit too sweet for me (I'll try something else next time). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and will definitely be visiting again.

Friendly staff. Varied menu. Angus burger with blue cheese was lovely. Tea was also delicious. Place celan. Also and shop and woodland to investigate. Recommend as a stop over or visit in itself.

Great for coffee and snack. Hot meals need some attention. The pie maker doesn't use seasoning. Spoils a good pie. Drinks tray bakes just superb. Friendly staff. Great location.

Delicious cheese scones fresh from the oven, gorgeous little shop and seating area, so thoughtfully spread out and quiet, amongst the Kitchen garden and the lovely new dog-friendly covered seating, the delicious treats available makes just the best little pit-stop outside of Edinburgh 🧡🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💜

Well worth stopping in. Staff are so friendly, knowledgeable (I had a coffee lesson) and patient. Food created with local and best of ingredients. Lots of different crafts, books, cakes, art, and gifts to buy as well as locally produced products. Great little cafe. Give it a try next time you are driving by. And for anyone on a long journey toilets available.

We stopped here on our cycle journey from Livingston to Carlisle. This place served the best cream cheese bagel and salmon I have ever eaten. The service was good.

Stopped here twice now. Good selection of cakes and can recommend the Lemon Poppy Cake. Had pie and homemade soup 2nd visit. Very happy both times.
