The cakes were AMAZING, I bought extra to take home. Freshly made food. Good quality & great flavours. The tea was proper & made in a pot too.
Staff were really friendly and the service was great.
My favourite cafe in Bideford Town! Coffee is solid & they spoil you rotten with the crepes! So much sauce & fruit!! Also love their quick cakes/deserts on display too, everything is a hit. The staff are lovely & have such wonderful smiles 😁 Thank you!
You won't be disappointed! For once I had time to sit down for lunch in town and wanted to visit a local cafe rather than a chain. Its been a long time since I've really walked through the town so this is the first time I've come across Cool Beans. Very covid aware and secure. Lots of lovely outside seating as well as inside options. Great menu full of tempting treats. We went for cream cheese and cucumber sandwich which as you can see in the picture came with coleslaw, salad and crisps. We also tried the chocolate mess crepe, and a cappuccino with butterscotch syrup. Wow. The food was fresh and tasty. Honestly it was faultless. The crepe was decadent and fabulous, my 7 year olds eyes nearly popped out lol she loved it! Awesome coffee full of flavour. Lovely interior, toilet for customers and dogs welcome and very friendly staff. Well worth a visit, we will certainly be back ASAP. Thank you :)
Really liked it here. Visited on two separate occasions and both times the hot drinks were really nice. Also enjoyed browsing the local crafts made by small businesses.
Best cafe in Bideford! Had a really decent cuppa and a tasty baguette. There's a big range of nice cakes and desserts too. Staff were friendly. Highly recommended.
Went to cool beans cafe today for the first time, had the most delicious chocolate milkshake, best I've ever had. Will be going again. Yummy.

Every time we go to
Bideford we always make sure to visit Cool Beans. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food is great and we loved the falafel dipping plate and the sweet chilli chicken nachos! (Secret menu item!)
My daughter spent ages looking at the lovely crocheted bits and bobs as well. Definitely recommend this cafe if you find yourself in Bideford.
We came here today, and all I can say is I will not be going back to costa! The coffee was such a bargain and the selections of syrups was 10/10. Also got a twix blondie to take away and it was huge got £3.50 and so so so so so tasty!!
Really nice, only problem was a young woman complaining and threatening the business because she claims to be acutely lactose intolerant, making a big fuss and being petulant and unpleasant over it.
Friends of mine have peanut allergies and do not behave in the manner of this young person.
Very nice clean cafe which was quiet and the service was friendly and quick.

What a wonderful little café! The food and drinks were both amazing, with a vast menu, large portions, and extraordinary homemade cakes. The decor is lovely and really works well, the team were super friendly and accommodating, and I loved everything about it! If I lived in the area I'd come here all the time.
Outstanding. It's not often I give 5 stars, but this place definitely deserves it. Great service, delicious food, perfect music, decor & atmosphere combo. We'll definitely be back!

My favourite café in bideford. Everything I've had of theirs, from the afternoon tea to the nanaberry waffle, has been excellent. I have a real fondness for their chocolate brownie scotch egg.
Basically, if someone were to ask me where to go for lunch it would be here. The best part; they also deliver!
Very nice ice coffee and excellent service (they gave me extra milk and ice and a take away cup for my leftover coffee).
Great waffles, reasonably priced too! The cakes always look delicious, will definitely be returning!
