Wow! What a little gem! Amazing food, we had V&V and crayfish salad and millionaire fries. best salads we ever had! Fries were delicious too. Yum yum yum! Everything so fresh and so tasty! And the desert was to die for!
Very friendly staff and attentive. We'll definitely be back if in area again! ❤️💝

Wow! Where do I start with this review.... Absolutely love this little hidden gem. My partner and I decided to go there for a meal while we were on holiday and we weren't disappointed, at all. We were greeted by the most kindest waitress/hostess who fully explained what was on the menu. When you go in it's not very big (not a criticism at all), it has a very intimate setting which I quite liked to be honest, as you've not got loads of loud noises all around you. The decor is to die for, love the colour scheme of navy/teal/gold with the faux plants dotted around. I spent a bit of time in the toilet (not because the food was bad (haha)) but I was just mesmerised by the decor in there. The Emma Shipley wallpaper with the leopard print elephants and the gold ornaments. If I could redeorate my bathroom, it would look like that. Love the idea of the pink feather-walled photo booth aswell, which adds that extra touch to the whole restaurant experience.
Now onto the food. Well, I was in food heaven from start to finish. We both had the salt and pepper squid for a starter which came out on a tiled slate, followed by the baked Hake in saffron cream sauce with Mussels and King Prawns with fries. The food is beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and the portion sizes are spot on! After my meal, I treated myself to a Brasserie Russian, which I've never had before, as I'm not much of a drinker. But I really enjoyed the mixture of the vodka, chocolate liqueur, Kahlua & cream over ice.
You can tell they've properly thought about every little single detail. All these little touches really gives the whole place that "wow" factor.
Amazing hospitality, amazing food. The place is just incredible. I love it that much, if I could, I'd drive 3 hours just to eat there again but will have to wait until our holiday next year.

Having a wander around Bideford at lunchtime, looked at the menu at the door and it looked promising. We were greeted with a lovely smile and showed to our table. Our food was great (open salmon sandwich and a lovely beef burger both with all the trimmings). Great stuff 😊👍

This restaurant is a true delight, I had an unexpectedly lovely time and a delicious lunch here with a pal. The exterior is unassuming and understated, we were greeted by the most charming and engaging member of staff, she was chatty and helpful but not too much...she had the most lovely manner. The inside opens up to reveal the most glorious dining space, dark moody tones, much foliage, and an accent of gold which gives an hint of old Hollywood/maximalist botanical. A round of applause for the bathroom too...Emma Shipley wallpaper, Molton Brown toiletries, I rest my case. This is all before you get to the heavenly outside seating area and, of course the food. The menu is well curated with something for everyone, we went for salad bowls but really need to go back and explore the food further....too hot for a big meal that day! Apparently, freshly caught lobster and other seafood is often on the evening menu. We briefly met the chef who gave a palpable sense of passion about the food she was creating and the restaurant as a whole. The atmosphere was upbeat and joyful, I was left buzzing about our experience, can't wait to go back for an evening meal. The coffee is excellent too. This really is an oasis in the very centre of Bideford.

What can I say, we are new to the area and wanted to check out places to eat. Mill Street Brasserie is just divine, to put it bluntly. Its a gem of a find in Bideford. Friendly staff, beautiful decor and a really good wine list that compliments the menu. The cocktails looked soo good too, and will definitely be back to try more of the menu and sample them.
The owner/chef is a champion of local produce.
Its an intimate setting, delicious food, fine dining in a lovely atmosphere.

Lovely food for the price. Fresh and well seasoned. And decent portions. Fantastic energetic service from a lady who was so welcoming, friendly and easy going. We went mid week mid day so atmosphere was lacking a bit but I’m sure it’s great at peak times. Was the opposite of a tourist trap which you get so often in tourist areas. Very refreshing. Keep doing what your doing!

She made a Simple quick Coffeei to Truely Fantastic unplaned unexpected few hours such a Lovely Great Relaxing Fun few hours.
COCKTAILS were just The Bestest i had ever had .(and being over 70 years and having worked travelled abroad-i have to admit i have had a couple),tasted divine looked just wonderful.Fresh flowers herbs ,best ingredients equals with the skill of brilliant mixing.....out of this world taste.
Plus a v v busy lunchtime full Restaurant .Found a tray of delicious Nibble for us too.All over and above what was normal.
She was Abs Great as was everything.And i havnt mentioned how enjoyable Spending A Penny was.
it was all just ABSOLUELY FABULOUS as was Louise .
