The Old Kitchen Tea Rooms - Bideford - Photo album

Ordered cream two cream teas, was plain scone, fairly small and tasted shop bought from packet and warmed up in microwave. Rather disappointed, gardens however were very pretty.
Saw that they claimed to serve best cream tea in Devon... Drive an hour to try it out and it was well worth it. Buttery light scones, loads of clotted cream and jam in the most serene surroundings. Highly recommended
A beautiful spot for a coffee and a spot to eat after a walk up from the town with a walk either side of the river spectacular views from the tea gard and well worth a visit
A hidden little gem! The afternoon tea was delicious, we had crab sandwiches and freshly baked scones with clotted cream. But the reason to visit is to see the beautiful converted mill and gardens. You could spend a whole afternoon there wondering up to the weir and down to the waterfall and beach.
Lovely setting for a tea room and nice gardens too . Lovely creamed tea 😋
Lovely gardens a little off the beaten track. Gardens were fantastic and well maintained. We also had tea and scones whilst there. They were very tasty.
Beautiful location. Lovely garden. Cream teas were out of this world. Highly recommended. We will go back. I recommend booking as they filled to capacity quickly.
Great service and a friendly owner. Sorted a table for us straight away and friendly fast service at a good price. Food was fresh (recommend the crab sandwich), with a great location. We did not go round the gardens but the bits we saw looked stunning.
A wonderful place to visit, quite extraordinary in that the sea and unique rock formations are 20 m8ns from the mill, gardens and tea rooms of the mill. The tea rooms are manned by the most friendly family unit, who have a wealth information and will gladly explain anything questions you may have. L
Unfortunately we couldn't view the gardens as we had an unruly dog with us, who would just want to get in the water! The tea and cake we had, however, was excellent.
Really lovely, secluded place. Quite difficult to get to (we got stuck behind a farmer and his cows for 10 mins 🤣) but worth the effort. We sadly didn't have time to walk the grounds but enjoyed our cream teas thoroughly. This was mid-june on a Monday and almost every table was full and they looked
Fantastic gardens. Very tranquil. Lovely cafe.
Well established but in need to path maintenance IMO. Some lovely photo opportunities and staff smiley and happy to help. Tasty cream tea. Careful if taking young children as lots of potential hazards.
Visited the tea room and gardens. Tea room is at the bottom of the gardens and serves a good selection of Sandwiches, Cakes and drinks. Takes card payments. Has toliets. Gardens are an additional entry charge of £4.95 per adult. You get a map and can access the gardens. Lots of colourful flowers to
