The best takeaway in Bideford! Tasty spiced dishes that are consistently delicious. We have used the Taj for many years and never been disappointed. All tastes catered for individually - extra mild for oldies to naga-hot dishes. Worth waiting for!

Excellent every time. Wonderful food, tasty, plentiful portions, good service & lovely staff. We usually have ours delivered, & can't fault a thing. Good prices too. Our 'go to' place for a takeaway.
Absolutely fabulous. The list time we visited tonight. My husband was an army chef so he can really cook and Im Used to excellent food . We were so impressed. Service was excellent. Food was amazing . Textures and taste unbelievable

Am yet to have a disappointing meal from this place, best curry in Bideford. Have been getting takeaways for the last 2 years. Going to have one tonight in fact! The staff are friendly, and they now have a full restaurant which I will sample one day (takeaway is an easier option with two kids under 4!).
Another excellent meal last night at the Taj Mahal. Food was delicious as always, piping hot, beautifully served and very fresh. Service is great nothing is too much trouble.
The food is super delicious and always very fresh, vegetables are not over cooked and crispy! Food is always delicious and the staff is super friendly. You can ask even for fresh chillies! I ant recommend enough!
A lovely authentic Indian takeaway and restaurant, on a quiet street in Bideford. The chicken pakora in particular is excellent, whether as a starter or a main, and the portion sizes are great for the price. Best Indian in the area!
I am a hot food fanatic and have tried many indian meals at restaurants and takeaways, but the Taj Mahal offers the best food in North Devon. All of the dishes I have tried have been full of fresh ingredients and spices that really deliver fantastic flavour and texture. If your into the hotter end of the scale, I fully recommend the Gurka Chilli Chicken. The Naga chilli based specials that are offered once a year also prove a big hit, with all the proceeds being donated to the local childrens hospice.
My favourite local curry parlour! When it says their curries are hot they really mean it.
I especially like the gurkha chilli chicken and naga chilli based specials.
