Lovely local pub, welcoming for guests. Food was great and timely, service friendly. Would definitely go again. Low cielings around the bar area to be mindful of, space was slightly odd shaped with your backs to a lot of the venue, but really it was a lovely trip. Parking is also right outside.

Went for a Sunday carvery and had the nut roast. Nut roast was probably the best nut roast we've had at a pub as it was more like stuffing rather than it being a dry, overly 'nutty' taste and crunchy like you get most places. Gravy was very tasty for vegetarian gravy. Roasties and Yorkshire pudding
