Very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and the most delicious Sunday Roast and puddings you can ask for.
A huge selection of vegetables with the roast all cooked to perfection.
I prebooked a table and in all honesty I drove past and didn't realise it was the pub.... But very glad we found it. The perfect end to our break away with an amazing lunch

Awesome place. Proper unmolested English pub. Roast was cooked perfect. Sun trap out the front, lovely pint of cider with the birds singing away in the trees across the road. Can't fault the place. Not too far from tarka trail if you fancied a Sunday bike road.
We are staying in the village on holiday from Wiltshire and visited this lovely pub this evening. The food was great but the staff were amazing. Especially the gentleman Dave behind the bar, he was excellent
Superb pub, loads of ciders, good lagers and ales too, great menu and food. We stayed for 2 nights in a beautifully decorated room above the inn. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here, the locals are really friendly and Nigel the owner is the perfect host.
The most welcoming pub, popped in for a few drinks whilst out cycling on the tarka trail wirh my son and stopped for longer and enjoyed an excellent meal with great service, friendly hosts and customers, highly recommend and thank you for a great time.
What a lovely pub ! We had a very tasty Sunday roast ! And lots off ! Then shared a chocolate brownie pudding ! Went down a treat ! Helped with a few drinks along the way ! Very friendly pub ! Then finished off,with r walk bk to campsite ! Ta billy,julia&henrydog!
Cyder Presse, under new management - lovely village pub, really welcoming and a great atmosphere. Sun trap outside for summer drinks, not far from the Tarka Trail, ideal stop off if you're walking or cycling. Highly recommend the Sunday roast. Lisa & Mike
What a fantastic little gem! After a very long day we checked in just round the corner and phoned up for a last minute table (Friday night). Fantastic, bubbly staff and amazing food. Highly recommend the steak and ale pie. You won't be disappointed! A proper 'local' pub with lovely homemade food.
Beautiful village pub, original old features, great charm.
Family run to a high standard, top service ,great atmosphere , amazing roast with a choice of portion sizes, meat options..ample selection of vegetables,..can not recommend this Beautiful little pub enough..
Plenty of seating areas to enjoy the sun and beautiful location inside and out !

Stopped off here from the Tarka Trail, a really friendly and welcoming service, food was great and I really enjoyed it, I had visited this place 6 months prior before the new management took over and I'm pleased to see it has a new lease of life now, Will deffinatly return.
Lovely atmosphere and hosts as well as the customers. Had a great time and a couple of needed ciders. Will visit again when we're back down in this part of the country.

New land lady and Land Lord have continued and improved on the atmosphere, food and quality of draft beers. Great place to go for an evening out or meal with friends
Nice family pub under new management. Had the roast, what a feast, lots of yummy veg and tender meat. Definitely be back.
