We enjoyed our large cod and chips at lunchtime, no queue! However, we are sat outside the pub next door this evening, and there is a long queue. Be prepared to wait and enjoy.

Great fish and chips in their sit down restaurant area which was dog friendly too so a real bonus. Our dog was treated to a sausage which was really great. Service was faultless, great place to eat highly recommended.

Stopped by this chip shop for lunch after reading some good reviews and were not disappointed! A lovely clean, modern eating area with a welcoming waitress made for a faultless lunch. 2 x Special Fish n Chips (cod, chips, mushy or garden peas) also a pot of tea or brewed coffee for £12.50 per head.

This is without a doubt the best cod and chips I have ever had. And so reasonably priced. Very busy restaurant with lots of nice staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Fabulous.

I was very impressed by this establishment. I went on a busy Friday night with a lot of customers. There was a large number of very friendly staff who dealt with the orders extremely quickly. The fish and chips were excellent.

We'll always pay a visit to Mr Chips when in Bideford, can get busy but worth the wait, I feel the prices are reasonable and you get your money's worth. Good online ordering service as well.
Top tip for the summer, take your Mr Chips to nearby Victoria Park to eat and after, get dessert from the Hoc
Nice chips. Good service. Busy, but then it usually is at lunch times. Friendly staff and not too much of a wait in the busy period I went in.
A family favourite located across the road from the river. Mr Chips has huge cod fillets, plenty to share. Staff are also very friendly and open to conversation. Must come on Fridays!
Stopped by on a whim the restaurant was spotlessly clean, we were served without being fussed over, food arrived quickly and the fish and chips were some of the best I've had in a long time.
