Absolutely top notch proper home cooked food, beautifully presented, and enjoyed in a wonderfully peaceful environment. Friendly welcoming staff too. Can’t wait to return to try something else from their menu. Sticky toffee pud is off the grid scrumptious!! Highly recommend this place x

After an 11 mile walk from Biddestone to Lan Hill and back, my partner and I were completely shattered, and instead of heading home and cooking, we cheekily checked if the pub had space for a 2 person walk in for food.... And they did!
Service was slow but its literally only one person running around doing all the jobs and doing the utmost best she can! But it gave us time to sit and relax, enjoy a cola before ordering food, then digesting the main meal before ordering dessert. If you like a slower paced meal out, here is perfect.
We sat inside after spending 6 hours out in the sunshine it was a nice cool space out of the heat. And the food was devine! I had Breton pie, my partner had Crab risotto, and then we both had Eton Mess for dessert, and we both have no complaints on the food, compliments to the chef! A very delicious meal, and only living down the road in Chippenham we'll have to return in the near future! Definitely a place for a family meal or a cute cosy couple date night, and will come highly recommended by us!
Fantastic food and by far the nicest, most well thought ploughman's I have had. Lovely setting in the centre of the village of Biddestone. Save some bread for the ducks on the village duckpond
Just popped in for a drink, new people taken over, not open the beginning of the week, shame, but staff very welcoming food looks good, will call again for a drink and a meal

Didnt eat but have been told food is very good. Stopped for a drink ,sat outside and watched the world go by. Very good service.
A great pub in a lovely unspoilt village, right on the green by the pond.
We had a most enjoyable evening meal plus good local beer.

What a delightful pub, set in probably the most quintessential English village you’ll ever find. Great staff who are coping excellently with the current COVID keeping apart rules. Lovely seating outside at the front with stunning views of the village, and another garden to the rear. Well worth a trip, we traveled from Windsor to see the village and loved sitting outside the pub. Recommended
