Easter Sunday, Bloomsburys served the loveliest pork roast with all the trimmings. Followed by a spectacular gluten free chocolate brownie. Perfectly cooked and very tasty! The restaurant/Café is in the most delightful location with glorious views and quirky decor. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will be returning without a doubt. - Thankyou blooms!!

Beautiful place, very relaxed and friendly. The lovely hostess and host couldn't do enough for us. Anything we needed we just asked and received. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I was part of a hen party but there were children there too and enough space for privacy and freedom. Everyone had a lovely time.

I can't believe there are negative reviews of this site. The staff could but nothing but accommodating. Yoshi was so helpful and friendly. The Yurt was clean and spacious. We were lucky we had a Yurt and area to ourselves. The kitchen is great for what we need. Bedding clean. Communication was fantastic a courtesy call before we came to ensure everything was booked. We arrived early so Yoshi got us some cushions for the seats, jug of water and glass for our wine. I can't recommended Anna who we had a lomi massage from amazing. I have a massage once every 10 days and I've never had anything like this. It was that good I'm willing to travel over an hour to see her. I saw the negative responses about the walk Way when you come in. People must remember this is Glamping I you want 5 star then go to a hotel. I had the most amazing time with my mum and worth every penny. Also def go to The Three Chimneys pub down the road. We had the best breakfast. Staff were friendly. I can't believe the negative comments. I would ignore them completely. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome.

My partner and I came across this gem purely by chance. We stopped for a break in travelling, but were tempted to have breakfast. It was truly lovely, very well cooked, very tasty, well served, everything was perfect. In such relaxing surroundings. Staff were attentive, and couldn't have done more for us. It was a very hot day, but the shady trees were a blessing. I highly recommend this place, it was a real find, we certainly will be back. David + Carol

Bloomsburys is an amazing, relaxing even spiritual experience, surrounded by comfortable seating, artifacts, inside and outside. We visited on a hot Saturday morning for breakfast and sat outside in the shade. Delicious food, excellent service, friendly and attentive staff. The venue has a Herbery, retreat, Spa, Glamping, and loads more. There are a couple of resident cats (which was perfect for me) and dogs are welcome. Parking within the grounds. It is well worth a visit, check their opening days first, but you won't regret it.

We have just returned from a short stay in Wild Rose, the whole place is idyllic, perfect to switch off relax and reset! The cabin is in an ideal location, great facilities, clean, everything you need, very comfortable bed, lovely bath and the extra addition of hut tub! The grounds are wonderful to walk around and explore, breakfast was delicious and in the perfect terrace setting, staff were so polite and helpful, Claudia and Russel were the perfect welcoming hosts - thank you - we will be booking again soon! - Highly Recommended!

Stayed in the new Carriage and it was delightful. Great food, lovely staff and even some live music. My one year old daughter loved crawling through the sumptious grounds in glorious sunshine. Even met the on site cat dog and ducks and we felt really looked after. Would visit again absolutely.

So lucky to find this peaceful haven on my doorstep. I enjoy browsing in The Herbary then go next door for a homemade soup of the day with a latte. It's so relaxing. Soft music, interesting collection of furniture and objects. The waitress, Meena, couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. She adds to the experience. It's now my favourite place to unwind.

Only happened on this venue by accident one lunchtime, what a lucky find! To the casual passerby it looks like an upmarket garden centre... but it's an unmissable, eccentric experience. A large airy cafe stuffed with extraordinary furniture and quirky lighting, this place is an absolute one-off. The garden looked beautiful too, but being was a stormy, rainy day it was viewed from the cosy indoors. The atmosphere is incredible, calm and welcoming with two super-chilled friendly cats and and a sweet elderly dog, all accompanied by mellow jazz and the the soothing percussion of the rain on the roof. The food was great, which led to buying cakes to takeaway - they were exquisite. What a great place with lovely friendly staff.

The staff were friendly and fantastic massage. It was a beautiful setting. Food was lovely and felt relaxed. Few things to be tweaked. New, long fluffy robes. It was cold during my massage and throughout my stay. Showers in our building did not work well. Bigger and bubblier hot tub. I wd def go back.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay, perfect for chilled out hen dos and gathering with friends. I was there as part of a hen do staying in one of the yurts. We used the hot tub, had our own lovely BBQ and treatments and had lunch and drinks at the restaurant. We all had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend. The owners, especially Thalia and Jo were fantastic hosts. Thank you so much, I'll definitely be back

We booked last minute as a little break as part of our honeymoon. It was beyond perfect and we could not have wished for more. We have never stayed anywhere quite like it before as it was do quirky and really quite unique. We will be returning as soon as we can. We booked the Wild Rose Retreat as it sounded like just what we needed after a busy time planning our wedding. The lodge was amazing. Warm, cosy and very private. The wood fired hot tub is the icing on the cake and really not that difficult to get the hang of as long as you keep stirring the water, while it is heating. Thalia was an amazing host and responded quickly to any questions or requests that we had. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the restaurant was a great addition for breakfast. We walked into The village a couple of times which only takes 10 minutes and had a couple of trips out during the day. I am so happy that we found this place and will be back as soon as we possibly can. We really didn’t want to leave. Recommend 100% for complete relaxation.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Thalia met us in the carpark on arrival and showed us to the cabin. Both the grounds and the inside of the accommodation are very quaint and stylish. The restaurant manageress was very professional and couldn't do enough to help. Will most definitely be returning in the future.

My wife and I stayed at the Wild Rose Retreat as part of a late honeymoon getaway. We did 4 nights and it was just the most perfect and relaxing stay. The cottage was warm and comfortable and looked rustic and cosy. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for a short break and we cooked all of our meals rather than eating out. Bloomsburys is very well situated to see a variety of locations in that area. We had a lovely day out in Tenterden and the rare breed centre. The hosts were perfectly pleasant and we were greeted warmly by Tess who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The hot tub was an amazing feature, once we got the knack for it (gradually built up a good fire in the furnace and add three or four additional logs about an hour before you want to get in, most importantly make sure you stir the water!) the smell of the wood furnace was delightful and added a wonderful ambiance to the stay. The smell of wood smoke and the crackling of the logs was blissful. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable and the enamel bath was to die for, I only wish I could have a bath that big at home! On departure we met Claudia who was very friendly and we had a lengthy chat about how lovely the hot tub is. We would love to stay again as soon as possible, it truly is a magical and relaxing place!

Saw this place as driving past one evening. The orange and back sign at the entrance caught our eye so went back the next day. What an amazing place. We looked at the glamping area, totally stunning and I am sure you would have a fabulous time. We sat outside in the courtyard again lovely, felt as if we were in Europe! We only had coffee but all the food looked lovely. Nicely decorated inside and they have an amazing collection of vintage china. They do afternoon teas, wedding etc. All the staff were really friendly. They even sell eggs from their chickens! Can't wait to go back when in the area and treat ourselves to lunch/afternoon tea.

Fantastic place with a really cool ambience. Service is always friendly and food is delicious. Lots of car parking space, great garden area for enjoying the sun and is dog friendly. Best of all, they offer a huge range of dietary options including a range of vegan food. Our favourite place for taking family and friends to who come and visit.

Really great and quirky interior style within a light and airy dining room and wide-ranging menu. We stopped for a quick sandwich, which arrived very slowly after our enquiries about the speed of service. However our warm sandwiches where delicious and very generously filled. Charming staff. As it is a country establishment, well behaved dogs are welcomed.

Had high tea here in a warm spring afternoon. Sandwiches and cakes were lovely, really nice tea sets with wide selection of bottomless tea. Gave us opportunity to try some types we would not normally drink like one with chilli. Staff were helpful and accomodating. Worth stopping off and popping in. On other visits have had normal lunch menu which never disappoints.
