Fab meal, fab staff, great atmosphere!
Dog friendly, staff go out of there way to help and the food is complete 5 star!! Highly recommend the stone-baked pizza and the fish and chips! Defiantly worth a visit!
Been to this pub a couple of times. On both occasions the food was delicious. Yes it's slightly more expensive than some other pubs. But you pay for quality. Tom was our waiter today and he couldn't have been any more pleasant or helpful. We will definitely be returning again soon and would recommend to anyone.
Came for my Birthday meal in a booking of 8 us yesterday and loved it. For such a busy time of year we received lovely service, all of our food was amazing with large portions for all 3 courses, staff were friendly and we weren't rushed at all! They even catered to my birthday request of sitting us by the fire and the place is so Christmassy. We will definitely be coming back, thank you!!���

Lovely place, lovely setting, location great. Food lovely. Staff very nice and attentive. Attended with my children who were super well behaved after a day in Southport. The place was quiet but welcoming. Food fab. Kids ate everything. Would definitely come again.
Went here for a family meal. It took approx 25mins before the drinks order was taken. The food was ok,nothing special. I Counted 10 chips on my son's plate that was after making sure it was a big portion for a child. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Food and service here was great. Not a large menu of cocktails but all of the cocktails we had were spot on.
Best pizza of my life (had the duck one). Genuinely lovely staff with a warm atmosphere and so beautifully decorated. Such a bargain for a genuinely incredible meal and experience :)

Great pub on a very busy road . Paid £16 for 4 coffees bit steep but pub looked busy on this glorious sunny day . Lots of activity on nearby car parks no idea what that’s all about
I bring my Mum every week for a Sunday Roast. Food amazing! And the staff amazing too! They can’t do enough for you, and are very friendly.

Went in before a meal for my birthday. Staff are all lovely. Service with a smile. Drinks are all generous at a reasonable price. Lovely setting. Worth a visit. (Have decent bourbons for a change also.

We had a lovely meal, couldn't fault the service or food. Giving four stars for the atmosphere is purely down to personal preference, I found the spot lighting too bright and prefer a warmer, softer glow. Morgan our waiting on staff member was excellent, checking if we needed anything, very polite and helpful.
We came here for Sunday lunch. We had Yorkshire bites which were mini Yorkshire puddings with beef dripping and were amazing I highly recommend them. For starters I had the salt and pepper calamari which was nice and my partner had the trip of pate but wasn’t too impressed with that.
For main I had the beef and my partner had the pork roast both really nice and came with all the trimming. We had stuffing wrapped in bacon as an extra too.
For dessert I had the mini chocolate brownie with a cup of tea and my partner had the banoffee pie with a tea. We had 3 cokes as well and the total bill was £64.
We come here regular as the food and staff are always great.
