Great staff, good food, good atmosphere in the bar/restaurant.
Lovely building with character.
Out of town rural setting.
Bed was too soft for me.
Shower pressure too low for my preference.
Great food and fabulous looking pub. Johnny the landlord was very friendly and kept some good real ales - a must visit if your in the area

Met family here as a halfway point between Newbury and Coventry. Even though this isn't particularly local for us, we will definitely visit again. Lovely lunchtime meet up with great service and great food. Particularly enjoyed the mushroom on brioche starter and the "lamb parcel" special. Well done
