Jacobs Plough - Bicester - Photo album

Lovely pub with incredibly friendly and helpful staff, from the ladies at the bar to the chef! We acknowledge that we can be difficult customers because of various food allergies but these guys were just brilliant and seemed happy to help too. Great food and drinks, comfy room and perfect location n
The Sunday Carvery is absolutely delicious. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was great. It is really nice to see a carvery back in Bicester. There was a good choice of vegetables, meat and sauces. The yorkies were huge, the potatoes crispy and vegetables were not over cooked. W
Excellent place: went for a meal, rather than staying at the hotel. Met up here with friends, recently. We all had a very tasty burger, although other decent things were on the menu. I had a couple of pints of Old Speckled Hen. Was interested in another Ale, so they let me have a taster. No issues w
I was looking for a venue for my husband’s 50th, just somewhere I could reserve an area rather than book the whole place. So glad we used this pub. As the weather was good, we were allocated the ‘barn’ outside, Ella was more than happy to accommodate my demands! She and her colleagues put up all the
Went with my family for fish & Chips. The fish was enormous and the chips and peas in luding the fish was well cooked. Really, could not finish it. Only down side the lack of choice of relish. Otherwise a deserving 5 stars.
This delightful little boozer, located plumb-centre between Bicester North station and the town centre (making it ideal for a tipple on the way into town) is everything you'd expect from an old, North Oxfordshire pub with an up-market feel: plenty of ales on tap, chatty staff and locals, and a lovel
Lovely friendly atmosphere, really welcoming to my little dog. Food was flavoursome and will definitely return.
Location excellent, rooms basic and clean. Reflected in the price. No complaints.
Lovely carvery! One of only a couple places to do a Carvery in Bicester! Brilliant staff!
Great place, staff are very helpful and it's dog friendly, also the food is very good and reasonably priced
We had lunch at this place and staff very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visit again.
Stayed 3 nights the staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you and went out of their way to make us feel welcome . The staff were totally attentive amazing staff . Dani ,Georgia , Elliot , and the rest of the staff were really nice, we couldn’t ask for better people to look after us w
This is a real little gem of a place. I dropped in last week for a quick snack with a friend and was really impressed. The service was prompt, efficient and very friendly. The food was great (we had the Calamari) and I loved the general ambience of the place, very friendly and relaxed. Will defin
Lovely meal . Staff were excellent. No complaints and very reasonable on price .
Such a cute, cozy place! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is super friendly, and we loved the food. This is such a charming place!
We popped in for dinner after making a reservation. The missus and I shared the arancini to start and had the Mushroom Gnocci and Confit Duck Leg as mains. We're not big dessert people but it lookd tempting! Cute rooms there, might stay a night next time!
Didn't eat here, just a drink but it was nice place, friendly staff and nice layout... definitely be up for trying the food.
