Had Sunday lunch with family, the food was lovely as always, good atmosphere and friendly staff.
Would definitely recommend.
The room was very clean and very comfortable with extras like... hairdryer, ironingboard, and of course the very necessary tea and coffee making facilities and a tv.. and the complimentary, full english breakfast, was delicious and plenty of other choices if you wanted something else, the owners and staff, and locals all Very friendly and welcoming... I would definitelyrecommendit and go back myself...
I stayed there on business lovely room great people and friendly my only mistake is i have the specials menu 3 course enjoyed two courses main i didnt but thats a personnal thing next tine i stay im eat off main menu.
Had a lovely stay at the White Horse, rooms are spotless with comfy beds and the breakfast was great. Even had a bonus of a lift to my car which I had left at a wedding venue the night before. Thanks guys :-)
Highly recommended and would definitely stay again
Called in late for lunch and the service and wad excellent.
Delicious Sunday roast.
Will definitely return in the future.
On arrival, lovely pub and big ish car park to the side which is suitable for vans.
Stayed for one night and had two rooms. Both rooms were clean & comfortable. My room ( had a wet room rather than bath/shower) the shelf next to the sink needs adjusting upwards as when I put my stuff on it would slip down and off. But apart from that couldn’t fault my room:)
Had dinner and the portions were HUGE! Really nice proper pub food and good selection of drinks. The breakfast was also really good.
All staff are lovely.
Will be back if In the area:)
Super lovely quaint, cannot complain.
Insanely comfy bed and there’s a bath too, what more could you want if you’re solo?!
Really lovely staff, my stay was short but would have liked to stay longer
Cheers
We had a great night here. Beer choices were poor, Greene King standard.
Staff were busy but really seemed to be enjoying themselves and were very friendly.
Absolutely brilliant place. What a gem. We booked a table for four for Christmas Eve lunchtime. They were very accommodating when I called to book, and the staff were very welcoming when we arrived. We thought the food was really great - generous portions, competitively priced, and excellent beer to complete the experience. I wish we lived closer! We’ll be back. Highly recommend.
Enticed by a local advert, we tried this out today and the Breakfast and service were incredible. Polite and courteous, we ate in the bar area with our dog, which was a clean and relaxing environment. Breakfast was gorgeous, cooked to perfection, lovely sausages, a variety of white and wholemeal toast, Eggs spot on. Timing from order to table was perfect, tea straight away and breakfast about 5-10 mins later. We left a tip as not only was it amazing, but it was such value for money, we think they could charge a little more. In addition not only is this dog friendly but a large free carpark by the side and a fabulous village green to walk around after. Definitely going back!
Excellent food and great service. Staff were really attentive and friendly. Only disappointing thing, is there is no baby changing facilities. So the only option is to change an infant in the middle of the restaurant, in front of everyone. The pub offers high chairs, but oddly no baby change.
We went to this pub for lunch and enjoyed it. Thank you !
There is a well that you can look down at in the hall
Friendly and relaxed
We were not staying there , just dining .
Group of us had a cracking meal here Saturday night, can't fault the food or service although The Gents toilets were a little grim! But unless you want to eat in the loos I wouldn't let this put you off.
Called this morning to book for Sunday lunch, meeting up with family. Extremely busy place, lovely food, lots on the menu, very accommodating, friendly staff, definitely recommend. Thanks Carl
We love it here and have been meaning to drop back in.
Staff are super friendly and the food is lovely with a good menu.
We enjoy sitting both inside & outside in the garden.
We popped in last minute a while back when they were very busy and they went above & beyond to find us a table.
A really great local for us.
Excellent service, the staff were very helpful, great choice of food and beers, can't fault it
Excellent local pub just off A14, great traditional food at good prices and friendly service, will be back
Amazing customer service in a busy pub environment. Food was excellent thus why it was busy on a random Tuesday evening. Would have been 5 stars however desserts, although perfectly edible could have done with the homemade touch, and bigger bowls! Friendliness of the staff, and in particular what I would guess was the manager/leaseholder, was a total standout and a lot of publicans could learn a lot from this guy. Well worth a visit for decent pub food at very reasonable prices in this day of some very overpriced menus. I would just add though prices are slightly more than what is on the website but still great value.
Great village pub with great atmosphere, service, beer and grub! Will continue to come back. Support your village pubs!
Very pleased with my stay here. Great bedrooms, food excellent, nice outdoor seating. Pretty village green in the heart of Suffolk. Above all very friendly service. I would stay here again. Thanks Jane and team.
I stayed here for a few nights whilst working nearby. Pretty standard pub menu, but food was very nice. Good selection of beers on too.
Staff were very accommodating, even made us takeout sandwiches as we missed breakfast.
Rooms are spacious and clean, the shower did go cold which was the only thing that let it down.
I haven’t been to the white horse for a meal for a long while and went in for lunch with my 22 month old daughter, and I couldn’t have been greeted more warmly. The young man behind the bar is a credit to you as is the lovely lady who chatted to my daughter and brought her books while we waited for our food. And the food was fantastic. We both had the toad in the hole which had proper homemade Yorkshire puddings, quality sausages and lovely mash and veg. Plus the gravy was great. And the sticky toffee cheesecake was fantastic. Good home cooked food, served with a smile. Will most defiantly be going back and supporting my local pub. Well done to all involved in making our visit one to remember.
