On arrival, lovely pub and big ish car park to the side which is suitable for vans. Stayed for one night and had two rooms. Both rooms were clean & comfortable. My room ( had a wet room rather than bath/shower) the shelf next to the sink needs adjusting upwards as when I put my stuff on it would sl
Super lovely quaint, cannot complain. Insanely comfy bed and there’s a bath too, what more could you want if you’re solo?! Really lovely staff, my stay was short but would have liked to stay longer Cheers
We had a great night here. Beer choices were poor, Greene King standard. Staff were busy but really seemed to be enjoying themselves and were very friendly.
Absolutely brilliant place. What a gem. We booked a table for four for Christmas Eve lunchtime. They were very accommodating when I called to book, and the staff were very welcoming when we arrived. We thought the food was really great - generous portions, competitively priced, and excellent beer to
Enticed by a local advert, we tried this out today and the Breakfast and service were incredible. Polite and courteous, we ate in the bar area with our dog, which was a clean and relaxing environment. Breakfast was gorgeous, cooked to perfection, lovely sausages, a variety of white and wholemeal toa
Excellent food and great service. Staff were really attentive and friendly. Only disappointing thing, is there is no baby changing facilities. So the only option is to change an infant in the middle of the restaurant, in front of everyone. The pub offers high chairs, but oddly no baby change.
We went to this pub for lunch and enjoyed it. Thank you ! There is a well that you can look down at in the hall Friendly and relaxed We were not staying there , just dining .
Group of us had a cracking meal here Saturday night, can't fault the food or service although The Gents toilets were a little grim! But unless you want to eat in the loos I wouldn't let this put you off.
Called this morning to book for Sunday lunch, meeting up with family. Extremely busy place, lovely food, lots on the menu, very accommodating, friendly staff, definitely recommend. Thanks Carl
We love it here and have been meaning to drop back in. Staff are super friendly and the food is lovely with a good menu. We enjoy sitting both inside & outside in the garden. We popped in last minute a while back when they were very busy and they went above & beyond to find us a table. A really grea
Excellent service, the staff were very helpful, great choice of food and beers, can't fault it
Excellent local pub just off A14, great traditional food at good prices and friendly service, will be back
Amazing customer service in a busy pub environment. Food was excellent thus why it was busy on a random Tuesday evening. Would have been 5 stars however desserts, although perfectly edible could have done with the homemade touch, and bigger bowls! Friendliness of the staff, and in particular what I
Great village pub with great atmosphere, service, beer and grub! Will continue to come back. Support your village pubs!
Very pleased with my stay here. Great bedrooms, food excellent, nice outdoor seating. Pretty village green in the heart of Suffolk. Above all very friendly service. I would stay here again. Thanks Jane and team.
I stayed here for a few nights whilst working nearby. Pretty standard pub menu, but food was very nice. Good selection of beers on too. Staff were very accommodating, even made us takeout sandwiches as we missed breakfast. Rooms are spacious and clean, the shower did go cold which was the only thi
I haven’t been to the white horse for a meal for a long while and went in for lunch with my 22 month old daughter, and I couldn’t have been greeted more warmly. The young man behind the bar is a credit to you as is the lovely lady who chatted to my daughter and brought her books while we waited for
