First time at Anzar’s. What amazing food. So different from anything We have ever tasted. You know it’s good when you wake up still talking about it. The wine was so reasonable and good. Jo our waitress was friendly and so helpful with choices.
Be patient and enjoy the atmosphere and drink, you need to wait for good fresh food. The starters were quick, but I was informed my main as it was chicken would take longer, as cooked from fresh. All beautiful and with the wait. We cannot wait to go back.
This place is a gem! Delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff & good value. They let us order from the set menu even though it was after 5pm. Everyone really enjoyed their food. Fantastic flavours. I really love that it’s a family run independent business.
It was the first time we went to the restaurant and it won’t be the last time. We went on Sunday afternoon and took the 3 courses menu for £16.x per person and the food is good, portions are generous. Prices are good and staff were welcoming. They have couple of mediterranean / french dishes that I have not seen for a while and will try next time
Amazing restaurant! 😍I went there with my partner and the service and food was 10/10. The chefs & waiter constantly checked up on us and the cocktails were amazing. I would highly recommend and worth every penny! The photo didn’t do it justice due to my poor camera.
Lovely place in Bexleyheath
Went there for lunch. Firstly found it value for money. Secondly portion size was good. Most importantly the food tasted amazing! I had 2 starters: soup of the day and falafel and houmous because I don't usually eat a heavy lunch. Indulged in a chocolate fondant which I shared. Had some chips from my other half and these were yummy.
Kids menu also looked reasonable.
The chef was very engaged with his customers. The one thing I would comment on is that the service could be a little faster. She was lovely but I needed to get back to a meeting so was a little less relaxed towards the end of the meal due to the time it took. Certainly will be returning and would highly recommend this restaurant
What a find! Went for dinner with two friends on Saturday night and will definitely be returning. The food was excellent, the service top notch - thanks to Jo and her team - and the price was very reasonable. I can't fault it. Highly recommended.
A lovely restaurant serving North African food - a great find! 😊 We went for the 3 course meal at £15.95 pp and the food was delicious, very well proportioned and value for money. Customer service was excellent.100 % highly recommend - can’t wait to go back!
Once again we went to Anzar Bexleyheath and yes the food was exceptional. I have added more photos to my review because if you are looking for a fantastic restaurant and fresh flavoursome food with lovely staff then book up or just walk in. We will be going again in the near future so we can work on through the menu thank you.

My family, friends and I frequently visit this place...I cannot believe I hadn't reviewed them earlier. If you're within driving distance then a trip down to Bexleyheath to try some delicious food is a must. Thank you team, we'll see you again next week.
Had a lovely meal. Food was good quality and cooked really well.
Chicken goujons melted in the mouth and the beef tagine beautifully soft and tender.
Portion sizes generous and piping hot.
Staff were friendly and attentive. Perfect.
Will definitely return.
