Very polite and friendly service. Very good coffee and such a variety of cakes it's difficult to choose what to have. There was also a large selection of filled rolls and hot snacks. Lovely place.

I come here every other week for a Saturday treat. It's so good! The cakes are really tasty and so reasonably priced. My daughter says it's the best carrot cake ever.
Located close to Bexleyheath main line station, this is a bakery which is also a tea shop. Staff are efficient, polite and friendly.
Cakes and other sweet things are always a delicious treat as I pass on my way home. The staff are always very friendly, and everything is incredibly reasonably priced.
They also seem to have a very good setup to mitigate covid risks safely.
Would recommend.

Hey hey, regular patron along with my Erith friend! I’ve got a lot of good to say, so buckle your seat belts:
First, the food is of top quality. There is a fine variation of snacks with something to catch your eye. In my case I ordered the seafood sandwiches, at a reasonable price. I’m a big fan of prawns and heathy eating. (I also got a hot chocolate and some cakes.)
Secondly the service is charming, and the staff treat you like old friends. Seating is ideal, especially by the window. We were given our food in quick time, and we were even given additional cutlery to cater for our cakes and drinks. It felt like being in a classy restaurant!
Notably, I was pleasantly surprised when the food arrived and the staff had taken the time to take the sandwiches out of the packaging and cut it up into triangles, making it presentable like something you would see on Masterchef. The attention to detail was very much appreciated and made for a wonderful homely atmosphere.
In short, the staffs at the Bakery have my kudos and praises! They should be commended for their sunny disposition, hearty attitude and commitment to the work. It is a pleasure to dine here and it is the setting for some of my finest memories. It is certainly worthy to be called “THE” Bakery.

I used the bakery in Pickford lane this morning I purchased a crusty loaf and 2 iced buns absolutely delicious.
The shop spotless and clean and the food is presented excellent and all smells delicious.
The shop buzzing for 9.30 on Sunday morning, and all served up to me by a very pleasant polite delightful young lady.
I'm new to the area and miss my old bakery dearly. I've tried a few in the locale but not much success until I found this once. If anything it's better than my old one! Lovely selection of cakes, bread and sandwiches. I had a lovely latte and eccles cake in the sun and met some lovely folks at the next table. I look forward to bringing my grandchildren in the holidays.
