Typical high street pub that needs something of an update.... this said service excellent ans staff very friendly. Guinness was superb and of the five pubs we visited by far the best pour and taste.
I personally prefer this type and style of pub but if your looking for trendy and lively location probably other pubs in Bexleyheath will tick your box better!
What a lovely place...friendly...Nice customers...only dropped in for a drink and stayed all evening the music was spot on... will definitely go back
Lovely pub with wonderful staff- ready for a chat and a laugh. Quite a few people in when we were there but very pleasant and definitely no animosity to us drop-in non-locals. There are two doors at the front but don't worry they both lead to the one bar. The Guinness was excellent and the Doom Bar as well. Just a quick historical note: the roses out the front are very white, but the rose behind the bar has a red light on it. Make of this what you will.

Lovely pub. The owner is really friendly and kind. I have only been going there recently and have been made very welcome. The other staff members are really lovely too. The food I've had has also been great. . . .Enjoy!
Comfortable, small, old style pub. The sort of pub you might expect in a village location, instead of a high street.
Although a lot of regulars crowd the bar, the friendly bar staff delivered a prompt service. Draught beer was in good condition as well. There was a great selection on my visit: Doom Bar, London Pride, Proper Job and Theakstons Grouse Beater. I only stayed for one, and would have liked to have tried them all.
There are a lot of things to look at on the walls, check out the jugs and bottles displayed as well.
The Rose has completely renovated their garden, it's now twice the size and a real gem in the heart of Bexleyheath. Staff here have always been very nice. Take the opportunity to try the garden next sunny day in Bexleyheath.
The Music and the Dj was really nice. Good atmosphere.
