The Furze Wren - J D Wetherspoon - Bexleyheath - Photo album

This Wetherspoons is in the heart of the town in Bexleyheath. It was great to a hear a trumpet player as we pass to get to the pub. It was so busy at approximately 2pm. We were not sure we would get a table. However, we did. Food was great, served promptly and in perfect condition. Tasted great too.
Not over busy, great value for money, Ham egg n chips at only £8.50 including a pint of beer what more could you ask for. Very tasty chips, one of the 2 eggs cooked to perfection the other ok, ham was ok Highly recommended
Location of the place is very well, many bus routes interlinks here. The size is very big but still not adequate enough for the amount of it gets busy. The environment is average and like most of other weatherspoons. Decoration is not very eye catching, average. Cleanliness is appreciable as it can
This is definitely the best meal I have had at Wetherspoons. The staff were really friendly and the food came out quick! It was delicious and very good value for money !!
Been to this spoons for ages for meet ups, pre drinks & family lunch. Sometimes il go alone after work, find a table & use the app. I usually avoid weekends as it can be busy & full of noisy lightweights nearly knocking your back seat at the table. I more go for food rather than getting drunk. They
I felt a little out of place and got some strange looks when I went to have breakfast. Maybe it was because I was wearing my pyjamas or because of my skin colour, but I didn't understand why. Regardless, the food was delicious!
What's not to like (other than some of the customers). You can have a beer festival without moving. Great beer, great prices, good food
Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere although could do with a refurb. The food is good and as with all Witherspoon's the drink cheap. Messed up our order today for the first time but this was quickly rectified and the staff apologetic. Would recommend.
Great menu, food was lovely. Little concerned about the camera that overlooks the first cubicle in the Ladies toilets though! Surely this is illegally positioned. Photo attached.
A nice lunch with friends, food was tasty & served quickly, lots of staff on hand. Excellent Guinness.
What is not to like about the furze? The food served is high quality and over expected. The staff are friendly and everytime i have gone there , the toilets are as sanitary as can be. I love the “ask for Angela” system, and the toilets are spacious. The drinks are pretty lush with the juices and cok
Nice big pub with great menu which was delivered incredibly quick! Love the refilled tea option too! Especially as I've given up drinking! My only complaint is the 3 mile hike to the ladies! (Loss of 1 star!) But I guess that's in every weatherspoon's! Staff are great and I can't believe that I did
I wanted to try this new Spoons. I wasn't disappointed. Great new venue. Great staff. The usual food. Had the fish & chips which is always good. I wish they would add a few new items. That's the only criticism.
What to say.... Food was tasty but presentation was pretty poor. Egg slapped on top of other wasn't a good look mushroom bit underwhelming. Large breakfast £5.90. lavazza coffee £1.35 free refills. Waiting staff get 5⭐ very polite and prompt ✌️
Standard Wetherspoons. Decent quality and price for both food and drinks. Gets very busy, especially around pres, which impacts service times but staff are polite and professional.
It's a great place to have a drink with friends, or Sunday breakfast with the family.
