We arranged a memorial celebration at The Danson Boathouse. We were taken care of by Rosie and her team who were very professional. The food was really nice, the venue was clean, staff very friendly and bubbly. The guests enjoyed the outdoor terrace. Overall we were extremely pleased.

Amazing Sunday lunch and definitely can't eat for the rest of the day! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, have never had a bad experience here and will always go back. Highly recommended!
I was part of a wedding reception there. What a lovely venue for a wedding! Catering great and bar staff. Food was really good, could not fault the boat house.
Good for works do although dance floor alittle small, decorated lovely, food was ok but expensive but all had a good time and parking was fine on the main road.
Absolutely fantastic!! Can't recommend enough.Fabulous venue, fabulous staff, brilliant food, myself, my husband and all our guests were well looked after and we had the perfect wedding day. A big big thank you to Rosie she was brilliant start to finish.😊
Lovely venue, especially when the weather is nice. Indoor and outdoor space is very useful. Very well run by the function manager who definitely runs a slick operation, food was excellent.... family wedding was all the better for having the reception at The Boathouse..... thanks to all the staff!
We went to the George Michael tribute night, the staff were great, the food was fantastic and the entertainment was enjoyable, we are looking to do the carvery next, very good experience

Found a little gem in Danson Park. The Boathouse are now open for general public so had lunch with the family will defo be back in a few weeks. Oh and the outside area is fab!
What a marvellous venue - great food (carvery is spectacular), perfect location with panoramic views of Park and Lake, attentive staff and very reasonable prices.
Only negative comment is poor access to the restaurant which is on an upper floor (2nd floor I think?) - No free parking near to the ven
Stopped off at the snack bar by the patio area and served a toasted cheese & onion sandwich by a very pleasant young lady. The best I have had in ages!
Lovely Sunday lunch at the Boathouse Carvery today, beautifully tender meats, nice choice of veggies and oodles of gravy ! Beth reasonable cost for four. We enjoyed ourselves, thank you 👍🏼

It was for our blessing/ renewal of wedding vows.
We booked for 70 people.
We ordered the hot buffet which had a mix of hot and cold.
We asked for 8 circle tables and 3 small square tables.
We arrived and everything was set up.
Went there following a funeral and the service was exceptional. Food was a buffet and very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.
