Carved is a place that simply oozes excellence. From the moment you're welcomed, to the moment you leave you feel completely at home. The food is delicious, prepared in front of you and quite frankly anywhere that blowtorches a sandwich is a place that I will always recommend. The owner, Josh, is a friendly, down to earth guy who gets along with anyone. Cannot recommend this place enough!
In a world of carbon copy food it's a delight to find a little gem like this which is ploughing it's own furrow. The place has an air of being hip and chilled. Super friendly staff in a relaxed ambience. The food really does speak for itself. Big portions and top quality.

The Salt beef bagels & smoked salmon bagels were to die for!!!

Tried it for the first time today and was very impressed! Great food, if you like to indulge in meaty, cheesy goodness! Staff were friendly and recommended a very nice lager for me, Alhambra, which was definitely one of the stronger ones I've had, but very nice indeed! The Sloppy Melt thing was banging! They let me add some chorizo too! My wife had the chicken breast burger which she enjoyed and I tasted, and can confirm it was amazing!
Oh, and the music selection was top notch!
12 of us entered hungry and expectant, 5 full platters from the BBQ a couple of plates of pizza fries and several beers later. 12 of us left slightly fatter but much happier. Excellent food and service.

Eat here yesterday for the first time after a recommendation from a friend... Very welcoming staff, great food which was cooked to perfection my only regret is that I didn't order more. Will be coming back and I highly recommend to try this place if you're passing.
Like it! The food is more-ish and the beers, though not real ale, are at least flavourful. Music can be a bit too nightclubby, but overall great place.

Carved is just the most incredible place. The food is top notch - and Josh and the team make you feel right at home. Last night my husband and I pretty much completed the menu. It was like winning at life!

28/02/2020 just moved to bexleyheath and went here first time. I Had a lovely time, nanhos was great, burgers was brilliant and sauces were tasty. Affordable and even provided a £6 tip. Great guys, please give my compliments to the chefs.
Great food. Really enjoyed the food. I have to really say I am impressed as I am vegetarian and they don't really have anything on the menu apart from fries and nachos. I called Carved a few days before to make enquiries regarding menu and they were very helpful and arranged a special vegetarian meal for me. Usually I am given pasta but I am throughly impressed and the food was really tasty. Great place my brother had the burger and said it was really good. 👌

Went today for lunch with my mum, really chilled vibe to the whole place. Was made to feel really welcome, especially by the lady on the bar. Chicken in the burger was a little dry but the overall experience and feel made up for it :) will be back for cocktails on a Friday night for sure.
Just eaten here this afternoon and have to say I really like the place. The atmosphere was nice and maybe it's the weather but I couldn't help feel like this felt Luke somewhere you would love to find on holiday.
I had a Reuben and a root beer. The sandwich was good, not huge but really nice and quality ingredients which is a none to common thing these days. The root beer was standard A&W canned stuff but was cold.
The service was good and friendly but not intrusive.
So why only 5 stars you say? Price simple as. Maybe ive been back up north too long but i thought it was a little over priced, especially the drink. That said its a niche place with a good atmosphere and i would eat there again.

This may well be Bexleyheath's best 'secret'. Hands down, the best wings to be had in the area are here. The sandwiches are great (and hugely filling) and the beers are okay too. The fries are a little underwhelming, but the quality of service makes up for that. It's never been too busy when we've visited and attracts a mixed clientele. Really enjoy a trip here.
Have been here a few times now, (always lunchtime or early afternoon) not been in the evening yet. Food is always great, good selection of beers, tv's on tbe wall, music in tbe background what's not to like?! The staff are friendly, okay it's not the Ritz, it's a bit on the small side, a bit rustic, and you don't need to dress up to go there, it's what I'd call an "Urban Eatery". Did I mention the food is great?! I can recommend the salt beef sandwich, fantastic. Look in if you're in the area.
We had a lovely burger it was juicy and delicious.. staff was friendly and helpful, it was a good eating experience during the day. I will try of a night next time as the beer selection looked good.
I have recently revised my review of carved from five to four stars.
The food is still excellent and a refresh of the menu has some interesting and welcome new additions. The customer service of the table staff is also good. The main reason for my lower rating is that the atmosphere in Carved has changed for the worse. It feels like there is tension between the staff with the senior members now no longer interested in passing the time of day with the customers. Frequent conversations are overheard of clearly disgruntled employees/owners. It simply doesn't feel like a joyous place to spend time anymore. I do hope whatever is going on is resolved soon.
Carved is still a great addition to Bexleyheath and I still recommend it, its just no longer deserved a 5 star rating.
Amazing sandwich's, great and friendly staff. Not only can you grab lunch but the atmosphere is always welcoming and there is new exciting items on the menu to please all tastes.
I really liked this place. Good service the food was amazing I will definitely be back this year and can't wait for that to happen. We try remember to take a picture of the food. Which is the mark of a good place when ur food turns up and u rip into it like bear eating a salmon completely forgetting to take a pic haha! I have been here 3 times now. Every time i got i leaving a very happy customer. Some places quality dips over time this is NOT one of those places!! 5🌟

The only reason i don't feel like giving the fifth star is because of the liberal use of the blow torch to melt cheese, unfortunately i could taste it and wasn't completely pleasant.
