Just had a Sunday roast and it was amazing !!!! Live entertainment too that was stunning! Will be coming back .. I’m super fussy and critical yet this today was one of the best I’ve ever had!

Nice atmosphere, well presented food, decor is cosy, classy and smart. Calling it my ‘local’ doesn’t really do it justice. Only down side is they’ve never had the bao buns available

Had a really nice lunch here during the week. Sat in the garden and had a burger and chips. Food was good and hot. WARNING the loaded burgers are properly loaded with filling pouring out (get extra napkins). Good choice of food and reasonably priced.

Eat out most Sunday's and decided to give The Anchor a try, can not fault the food service or atmosphere. Sunday roast was excellent especially serving mash and roast potatoes together. Yorkshire however was small and would suggest a larger one which would elevate the roast. Will definitely be returning.

Good food and service. Piri Piri chickens and small plate were really tasty. Went with the family and dog, good to see similar patrons. Lots of families in the garden. Nice on a summers evening for dinner. Would recommend to families with a dog.

We've recently moved to the area and this is by far our favourite pub we've found so far. Food is really great value and excellent quality. Friendly staff and beautiful beer garden....really love it!

I came here based on the reviews for the food. Lovely afternoon with a range of cold beers and really friendly staff. The food wasn’t to disappoint. I had the crispy chilli beef with noodles and extra chillies (still not hot enough 😂😂) would recommend this goldmine to anyone who lives around bexley

A lovely pub with great food, convenient parking, easy to get to by bus, we had a most enjoyable afternoon in the garden, which is a little uneven in places, but fine where the seating is. Toilets were nice and clean, I'd recommend this pub.

It's not a huge menu so it was disappointing that two of our party of six could not have the items we wanted as they were unavailable. We were not told this until we went to the bar to order! Otherwise, a pleasant midweek pub- lunch. Not many customers which made it nice and quiet. Not a great selection of beers so it wouldn't be my choice for an evening visit but fine for lunch. Friendly and accommodating but not overbearing staff made the overall experience good.

It was my first time here. This is a proper pub as they used to be. Sadly, no draft beer was available, and the sandwiches were very poor. But I would go again.

Very friendly staff who are quick to take your order. A good variety of drinks. Food is decent as well. The pub itself is well decorated and has a contemporary feel with the garden being very pleasant. Toilets are clean. Would recommend visiting.

Lovely pub, has food and drinks, wheel chair access and the staff are very friendly. It also looks amazing now inside and out a lot of time and effort went into the refurbishment.

I visited with a family group on my granddaughter's birthday . It was 4pm on a Friday. The pub has one large room, light and bright with double doors leading to the beer garden. The fish and chips was £10 for an adult portion and the fish was nice and flaky. The chips were frozen as is usually the case these days, though I really don't think much of them. The sausages and mash were good, too, and a generous portion. I can't comment on drinks prices, as I wasn't paying! The pub is popular and got very busy and loud the floor is tiled and all the hard surfaces no doubt add to the noise. However, the atmosphere is lively and dogs and children are welcome. I look forward to sitting outside when the weather is a bit warmer.
