As Keane fans, I popped in with my partner during a short break in Eastbourne. Ideally situated on the front at Bexhill. A nice café which is reasonably priced. I only had tea and cake and the cake was delicious. The teabag was left in so I could make the tea to my liking. Friendly service from the
Been here quite a few times over the years, always a warm and friendly environment. Always popular place to go. But today was just in need of a classic Mr whippy to enjoy on the beach on a fantastic sunny day.
Small café located right on the promenade. They have plenty of seating both indoors and outside. Staff are friendly and helpful. Not sure if I had terrible luck or they just don't order enough stock in but first asked for a scone with jam/cream and they had run out of those. I then asked for a sausa
A lovely cosy little cafe with friendly staff and great prices. We sought the cafe out specifically because my favourite song of all time is called… you guessed it… the Sovereign Light Cafe by Keane. And it did not disappoint at all. Would definitely return if we are in the area again!
Stopped off on my motorbike the other day ,easy to park ,great view of the sea and food was really good as was coffee .

They were short staffed so limited service but the gentleman behind the counter was calm and very pleasant despite the very long queue.

Excellent freshly cooked Cod & Chips as usual. Medium busy at 2.30pm. Table clean, not greasy. Cutlery sparkling clean. No real wait, food arrived at our table within 10 minutes of ordering. Our go-to café in our home town of Bexhill-on-Sea.

I visited the Sovereign Light Café because I'm a fan of Keane (Music video it was featured in) And this place didn't disappoint. Lovely food, lovely staff and great views. Good to see them busy too.
