Visited on Christmas eve with a large family group. The food was fabulous, tasty and fresh. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend shiplu tandoori

First time here, went in to place order to take home, took about 15mins, Great food, great value got 4 meals and only ordered for 2 as portions were big and great value, will come back, great service too!
A nice friendly Indian restaurant. Service is good, food is tasty. I particularly like when they do a buffet meal. They will provide takeaway boxes if you have a small appetite, which the kids like. We have been multiple times and will go again.

Amazing food and the staff were so helpful too! We ate here welhen we visited from London for our wedding anniversary. This place offers a relaxed atmosphere as well as exceptional food. Will visit again if I'm ever visiting Hastings!

Been 3 times this year and twice last week , Monday for my late brothers birthday meal, 20 of us and on Thursday for my birthday, 9 of us.
All excellent quality food and service.
Portions are tasty, big and well presented.
Friendly staff, plenty of space and comfy chairs.

One of my favourite places to visit over the last 15 years. I now live in Australia and it is always on my list of places to visit when I come back. Food, atmosphere and service is always great when dining in. I have also spent Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve at the Shiplu in the past.
This is a lovely friendly place to eat! There were 28+ in our party and although it was a Friday night we were able to order of the buffet menu.
The staff were very attentive, there was a little confusion of some of the dishes that arrived but no complaints about the taste and quality of the meal.
Definitely the place to eat in Bexhill.

Absolutely lovely restaurant. The food looked wonderful. Unfortunately I couldn't eat much of it as I'm vegetarian. They provided 3 different meat curries but no veggi one at the buffet. Just had bombay potatoes and rice instead. Staff are lovely though, and the decor is nice too.
Long established with a good reputation. A lovely meal. Thin on customers, which reduces the atmosphere.
