De La Warr Pavilion - Bexhill-on-Sea - Photo album

We visited the Sussex Guild craft fair here yesterday on a lovely sunny day. There was also an art exhibition on. We went to the cafe upstairs for a cuppa and a piece of cake, which was tasty. Lovely view too! Thought the shop also sold some interesting items made locally.
Never been before Great views out to sea, good coffee shop upstairs. Pavilion free to enter and to see any exhibitions. I lay in a hammock in one exhibition watching and listening to the sounds of jimi hendrix where the walls and ceiling project images of the man. Just a shame you can't view the aud
What would Bexhill be without the De La Warr! Such a lovely venue, beautiful sea side theatre with some excellent events, acts, etc I live here in Bexhill. It’s such a hidden gem. When the tide is low, the beach is stunning, sandy.
Lovely building, Great views, even better if it wasn't raining. Had a lovely lunch in the upstairs cafe.
Captivating modernist building. There is a great stage with lots of big names visiting, a beautiful bar and kitchen with great views of the beach and channel and plenty of exhibition rooms. The building’s history is very interesting and there is a great book about it for £5 in the Pavilion’s shop.
Wonderful place to visit, rain or shine. There’s always something more than expected here. Autumn events are looking good too.
Wonderful example of an art deco building with a great vantage poont of a roof terrace and a very photogenic swt of stairs would be a great to double as a portrait location. Varied book shop and the exhibitions we visited were very good if a little small.
Nice venue and seemed well run and managed. With good acoustics for the band we saw. Only downside was we had seats in the balcony that were OK, but too close together for average to large adults, so they felt very cramped after about 30 mins.
Lovely building, and the events they put on are brilliant, well done and well priced.
Visited to watch a concert. Popped in to check it out beforehand and inside there is a cafe, book shop and a guy selling records aswell as some exhibits. As a concert venue, very good, organised with a make shift bar. Acoustics in hall were excellent, seats comfortable with plenty of legroom. Nice
