Minnie Bertha's Fish & Chip Shop - Bexhill-on-Sea - Photo album

Exceptional fish & chips and great value. I had one of the tastiest haddock & chips I’ve ever eaten and it was less than £10. Right on the seafront so I ate it on the beach. Cooked to order and very friendly service, I couldn’t have asked for more.
Definitely one of the best fish and chips myself and my husband have had in a very long time - if ever! Definitely cooked fresh from order and both the batter and chips were really crispy and tasty. Staff were also friendly and the shop is only a quick walk across the road so you can eat on the bea
Very fast service, good portions and great food. I got the white bait, the calamari and some chips and it came to just over £14. There was more than enough food for me and my friend. It was delicious and there was plenty of variety on the menu.
Lovely piece of cod, batter was perfect, no claggy layer of wet flour you get at some places, light and crispy as it should be. Wasn't dripping with oil either. Chips were good chip shop chips, too . Our go-to eaterie whenever we visit Can't recommend highly enough.
Lovely fish and chips, but for £22, 2 large cod and chips, wasn't large at all. I guess we have been spoilt with large cod in the past that was as long as the box 😂 but this was really very tasty 🙂🙂
The best and most atmospheric chip shop in Bexhill. However there is usually long waiting times (sometimes up to 40 mins) and their opening times are always changing (they aren't open on a Wednesday for some reason) but worth it for the food as I have never had better.
Really yummy chips, nice crunchy but still potatoie inside! Had the cod bites, juicy on the inside served with on a long cocktail stick so easy to eat, even my partner who's not a fan of fish enjoyed it too. Perfect to just go across the street to eat on the seafront
Fish and chips were very good. Only reason it does not get five stars is because the time I went it was around a thirty minute wait. This I wouldn't have minded but we were not told when we ordered. They only started telling people later on. This was peak time on a Saturday and the staff were wo
Our family & extended family eat Berthas nearly every single Friday. Love the fish! And it is locally caught too.
Good chippie, reasonable prices, clean premises and friendly staff. Just what you want from a local chip shop. (For reference I had the Scampi with chips and mushy peas)
Best chips I've had in years! I rarely leave reviews but wanted to let you and others know how much they were enjoyed. Highly recommended
One of the best Fish and Chips i have had in a long time. Right on the beach front too so not far to walk for a perfect bite to eat. Big selection to choose from even catered for my vegan Mrs. Staff really friendly and helpful.
Hands down the best fish and chips I've ever tasted. The cod was so fresh, the batter so crispy and light, and the chips were perfectly crispy and golden too. Knocked off a star for charging extra for ketchup - not only that, but you can only buy it in a bottle, which is ridiculous when you're just
We got recommended this place after collecting an item off marketplace, we did have quite a long wait after ordering (over half an hour) but.... and I don't say this lightly.... it was the best fish and chips we have ever had. Crispy, fresh, not greasy, perfect. Would rate a 6/5 if I could. Definite
Consistently good fish and chips. Cooked to order.
