We were looking for brunch and happened upon Wickham Bistro on one of the main shopping streets of Bexhill, and what a lucky find it was. Menu included classic brunch dishes like Eggs Benedict and various options of smoked salmon, bacon, avocado, etc. The 'menu' is all on a huge chalk-board that the waiter will bring to your table. Service was good and the food was delicious. Small but carefully chosen list of wines, mostly Spanish, from a small producer you won't find in the shops. Rosé was tasty. The interior decor is fun and quirky, giving this place an inviting ambience. Sean, the proprietor, stopped for a chat and was friendly and knowledgeable. Recommended

Tucked down a side street, away from the Bexhill seafront, this is a quirky, delightful, family run bistro. A lovely welcome, excellent food (Eggs Benedict for me), good wine (the owner was able to tell me about the vineyard), and good prices.

We discovered this gem of a place while staying in Bexhill for the weekend. Delicious and hearty homecooked food and really warm and welcoming service. So good we went twice in two days, and they offered us our lovely corner table again before we even had to ask. A wonderful and special dining experience.

This Bistro is for me, a wonderful find with an amazingly comprehensive menu to suit everyone who enjoys good quality fresh homemade food and wine. The service is friendly professional in a relaxed shabby chic clean environment. I am looking to return to taste all the delicious choices on the menu and also buy their frozen products for when I don't want to cook. Great prices and an all round brilliant place to eat. Thank you Shaun and Sharon.... Jan &Tony Borlace.

Superb Sunday roast with some really nice unusual vegetables like roasted beetroot and onions. All desserts homemade and delicious. Would definitely go again.

Very very nice Sunday Lunch. Veggies from the owner's allotment. Beautifully cooked beef. Crisp roasties. Marmalade sponge or jam roly poly for pud. What's not to like?

Great little place, we stopped by for a late lunch. Loved the atmosphere and service. Menu choices are more unusual, food freshly made and tasty. Really enjoyed the pear and ginger juice too.

Nice, cosy family run bistro. The place was lively when I was there. I was served delicious food cooked by one of the family members of the owner. The people served looked jolly and welcoming. It seems they try to serve local produce whenever it is possible which was a nice thing in my opinion.
