Seafood dish excellent
Meat dish not so good. Sauce great but pork was quite tough. However the staff did offer to change the meal.
Puddings and coffee were great. Really finished a nice meal off.

Starter was the best I've ever had. Hand made nachos were so good. Not often you get freshly made ones. Sauces super tasty. Amazingly presented.
And the paella.... Well..... Very fresh and so much seafood. We love seafood and always struggle to find really good seafood dishes locally. And now we found it. We will definitely be coming back again for sure, and will recommend your restaurant as much as possible.
Also, your waitress was super friendly and helpful and asked all of the right questions. Waiting times for food were perfect. Presentation spot on and the interior and exterior decor was in keeping with the style of the restaurant. Also the music, which I especially like.

We visited Sobremesa on Sunday afternoon after recently moving to Bexhill.
I have to say that not only was all of our food delicious, but it was very reasonably priced too.
The host was very friendly and helpful when it came to explaining some of the food on the menu. I had the lamb chops for my main course and they were absolutely delicious.
This restaurant is a real gem and we will definitely be back soon.
Absolutely incredible food. We went for a celebratory family meal and the staff were fantastic. The food is expertly prepared and so fresh and authentic. The portions are generous. It surpassed all of our expectations and I would definitely come back! Cocktails were also a delight.
I cannot recommend more Sobremesa to anyone wanting to try the freshest food you can imagine. Not only is the food amazing, you have to try their Sangria too. Sobremesa has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants. Just try it and you won't be disappointed 100%

Fabulous lunch. We had a great time yesterday and the food was amazing. We had the seafood paella which was full of prawns and mussels and so much flavour. Amazing charcoal bread and all freshly prepared. Service was excellent; down to earth yet attentive and caring. First class and we will definitely be back!

This meal was maybe the most exciting in Bexhill so far. Really delicious and interesting dishes like beetroot tartare and charcoal bamboo marble bread. I tried this gigantic beef burger which I can find the photo of. Crazy huge, way too big for one person but super delicious. Loved everything, especially the service, staff where so great at putting up with an embarrassing parent.
Had the most amazing time here. Love the mojitos, fabulous. Very authentic South American food cooked to order. Loved the paella and the lamb shanks. Make sure you finish with the lava cake, delicious.
Service was very good waitress knowledgeable and friendly food was delicious.
The best restaurant in Bexhill and beyond , the food is amazing ,I'm glad I was the first to try the mushroom tostada, the drinks are delicious , first time I have Vegan wine ,service is great , this can achieve greatness in the future , Malcolm really upped his game over here everyone , recommend to everyone Meat-eaters , pescatarians , vegetarians , vegans , give it a try you won't regret , this man deserves it all , All the best :-D from the Portuguese guy xD P.S. Amazing food and lovely staff- it was one of the best meals me and my husband have had for a long time! Really well priced as well. Would 100% recommend this place and we'll certainly be back again. Thank you so much!!
