Lovely little pub with character! Staff were welcoming, beer was good and it's dog friendly too. We didn't have anything to eat but the pie and mash looked tasty 😋

We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal here last night. A really tasty farmhouse pate and then... the most enormous mixed grill! My partner was very impressed as this is often his go to choice on a menu. He was not disappointed. All the meat was tender and tasty. I had the rump steak which was beautiful. The chips were delicious and tasted fresh and crispy. The onion rings and mushrooms were a lovely added extra. Needless to say we asked for a doggy bag from the mixed grill. And the service and drinks were impeccable. Warm cosy fire and cosy atmosphere. We are finding it harder to find places that do real home cooked food done well, but we found it here. Thanks for making our night out effortless and relaxing. Highly recommended.

A charming pub tucked away in a quiet street. Friendly and efficient barman. Reasonable choice of food including various pies. Food quality very good. Would certainly visit again.

Great little place nestled away in Bewdley. The building is warm and inviting in a Tolkienesque sort of way. The staff were polite and attentive. We liked that the chef bought extra Béarnaise sauce, and the Béarnaise sauce is worth the trip alone. The truffle infused chips sprinkled with kelp and the broccoli and almond veg were also delectable in presentation and taste.

It was a bit quiet for a Saturday night but I suppose everyone was down by the river....it's nice enough. Barman was a bit zany.

The way the food menu is written at this amazing little pub does the food no justice WHATSOEVER!!. There were four of us, we took a look at the menu. One member of the gang is vegitarian, the rest of us are normal. The menu says nothing about the food. We drank our drinks and was about to leave when it began to rain. We were hungry. Three of us decided to chance the roast beef, the vegitarian chose the vegitarian tart. And glad we did. The food was delicious. The staff attentive and polite. It's a little gem. Definitely be going back. I had profiteroles for pudding. Heavenly.

Brilliant Sunday lunch. Food and atmosphere was very good. 4 stars because I think its a little overpriced at 13.95 for beef. I would visit again though.

Very cosy pub in historical building. We love to come here, particularly in the colder months when the fire is on. It's lovely to see it busy again and with yet another change in owners, food is back on and more "down to earth" than previously, of good quality/value for money. It's pub food, nothing sophisticated, but it tastes fine and what you would expect from a pub. You have to order yourself at the bar but they bring the food and drinks to your table. Service is very friendly. We certainly enjoyed it and will be back.

The new owners of the pack Horse are brilliant. They cooked Santa Pies for 15 of us today to carry on a tradition we have had for 25 years with friends. The food was perfect and service excellent. If you haven’t been for a while make sure you visit - it’s absolutely worth it.

Very friendly and a nice atmosphere. Short on customers which will probably change when pub food becomes available in the next week or so
