The Running Horse - Bewdley - Photo album

We had been doing some walking locally in Wyre Forest and decided to go for a meal, we had seen this pub on way so I initially tried to book a table whilst out and about - no luck, it kept telling me that the table I had chosen had just been got by someone else. After trying different times for abou
A nice time at the Running Horse last night. The food was good, and the drinks were good too…loses a star for being slightly overpriced and not having the arancini! Unfortunately also ran out of captain Morgan’s spiced rum… Atmosphere was lovely, just a shame there wasn’t any table service outside.
Went there for a meal for my grandma's birthday and was greeted by amazing staff, beautiful service and nice atmosphere with music, sure sometimes the music doesn't match the building but there is always a song on for everyone, definitely will be coming back and do recommend to anyone who wants a ni
Had a lovely afternoon/evening here recently with our 3 young children. Lovely beer garden and play area which the kids enjoyed for a couple of hours. The food was excellent. The best review could only be the 3 empty kids plates we had. In fact, all plates were empty. It was delicious. Alongside the
Absolutely gorgeous meal and Debbie the waitress who we got nattering to was a lovely lady definetly recccomended and great food
We were camping near by and needed somewhere good to eat. Have visited 2 other pubs locally, I can say we were glad to come across the running horse today. The food was excellent. All 3 of us enjoyed all our food. And the beer was also well kept. The 2 ladies serving well also excellent. Highly re
The food was excellent. They went out of their way to accommodate my wife. She had not been well and wanted just a plain salad with salmon. Despite it not being on the official menu they served it up. Staff were very friendly. Difficult to rate the atmosphere because it was a Tuesday evening and not
Just returned home from a great meal here. My husband and I met up with my parents, brother and a very special family friend. The service was great from the moment we walked in. We all ordered different mains from the Sunday menu and they were all excellent. The atmosphere was very calm and cool, co
We hadn't visited for some time after a couple of poor meals, but decided to give it another go. We were so pleased that we did as it's certainly improved. We were warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. Hot drinks on a cold, wet day (yes it is August!) were very welcome as we browsed the menu. The
Visited as a group of 4. Had mains and desserts. Waiter very friendly and approachable. A little chilly in the building but put this down to there not being many in (Thursday night). Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Looking to book our Christmas meal meet up there.
Nice place to eat, the food was good. Our child's mac and cheese was, at best, a very disappointing portion. The child's started was massive, so I knew it wouldn't be too much of a problem for us. To others, im sure it would be. It was pretty much the smallest pot I have ever seen, even with the 1 s
Came for a family birthday meal. Food was very good and portion sizes were fair. The staff were really friendly and helpful! Charlotte, Lisa & Debby were great!!
Honestly the best burger we have ever had :)! Such a lovely cosy pub, we love it. The boar burger , off the specials menu is perfection!
A friend and I went out for a sunday dinner to catch up and the service was friendly, attentive and quick. Our server Russell was especially good, and we appreciated his humour and hosting throughout the night. The food came quick and was nice and hot and a lot of it. Hope to come back again soon. A
Came with a friend to celebrate her birthday. As the weather was glorious we sat in the garden with the dogs. Enjoyed our food. The staff were very pleasant & friendly. Lovely afternoon
