Had a very tasty meal yesterday, starters of bubble & squeak, and pate, then mains of cod & chips, & chicken balti.reasonable prices and good sized portions . Excellent meal, lovely surroundings, staff were efficient and friendly. We were able to take the dog and they are welcome in all but the restaurant area,we sat out the back where there is a Koi pool which is lovely.Out at the front are tables to sit and dine whilst watching the river ,swans and ducks in the sunshine. All in all a great place to eat.We will be back.

Myself & three friends really enjoyed our lunchtime meals here. It was quite busy when we first went in but the staff were very friendly & welcoming. I had the Camembert platter which was delicious & I would certainly order it again. We stayed all afternoon & it was lovely to relax with friends. We're all looking forward to returning again soon.

Did not stay at the Mug House, just had an evening meal with friends. The service was excellent, felt very looked after. We had two courses, starter and main meal along with drinks. The food was very good and reasonably priced for the quality. The menu is so much more than the usual basic pub/hotel menu with a selection of seafood, meats and vegetarian and vegan options. Also have a children's menu. There is a large car park in Bewdley and from there it is just a short walk to the Mug House. Atmosphere is lovely, and the hotel is situated by the river with outside seating available. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Absolutely beautiful establishment inside and out. Jose was such a lovely host and was happy to show us around the garden area which felt so warm and cozy. Then theres the food…and wow!!! We probably ordered too much and ended up taking a pizza box away with us but every mouthful was an absolute pleasure to experience. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and we look forward to coming back again one day. 100% recommended

What a treat staying here was ... the rooms are inside a pub/restaurant right next to the river. The hotel is so pretty, full of flowers and hanging baskets there is a very quiet road in front of it and then chairs and tables right next to the river, looking toward the bridge on one side and the rowing club on the other. Our room was lovely, large with a four poster bed, very comfortable, we had original beams and an old brick fire place ... I loved the exposed original wall which had been framed. Our room had a bath which I really enjoy, I like to have the choice so that was a bonus. Our stay was really nice, loved being close to the river and only a short walk into town. Parking was in a municipal carpark behind the hotel

This is my favourite place to relax, eat and drink in Bewdley. The staff are wonderful. The food is exceptional. It's beautifully located on the river front. The bar and restaurant area is very cosy. But what makes this so much more is the lovely rear garden sitting area. Such a great European feel to it. Enjoy a fabulous pizza cooked fresh in their pizza oven or a fabulous steak. Wonderful pub and restaurant.

We went for a family meal (7 people) to celebrate my wife's birthday on Saturday evening and we all absolutely loved it. The Mug House has a great, relaxed atmosphere. The food was great and the staff were really helpful & friendly. We've been a few times before and will definitely be going again. Thanks to all involved for a lovely evening.

Lovely pub with an extensive food menu and friendly staff. Decent choice of beers available, really enjoyed the Cruzcampo (Spanish lager) Went for the sharing fish platter which was great, especially enjoyed the mussels, mackerel Pate and fish goujons This place seems to get really busy so make sure you reserve for the evening and be prepared to wait for your food. Forgot to mention, the homemade chips are excellent

Nice little pub with great food. A lot of younger staff that clearly haven't poured a pint before. But still a great place. Edited - 05/07/2023 - I was a little harsh with the previous comment. The staff were young but were very enthusiastic and more than happy to help. The visit was very lovely and they did sort out the pint that was poured incorrectly very quickly. A great place for a meal and drink.

Oh my hat!! The food was absolutely fantastic!!! The service was excellent and the venue, comfortable and friendly. So glad we stopped there, and all because some of the ladies loved the flowers outside the place. So well kept and inviting. I would recommend this place to anyone who is in the area, you cannot go wrong. Just bring an appetite as their portions aren't small.

We have been here on various occasions over the years, when we travel to the area for weekend breaks. The place is fabulous with some beautiful accommodation overlooking River, friendly and welcoming staff and we have never had a bad meal here. Highly recommended.

We've just stayed at The Mug House for our eighth time since Autumn 2022, while visiting family locally. Lovely characterful room, great food, and very friendly staff. Riverside location is lovely. Bewdley is a characterful old town. We would thoroughly recommend The Mug House. Bryony and Phil White

Daffodil room was brilliantly quirky, felt drunk as the floor was uneven, made us laugh, perfect view, fabulous shower. On the downside food wasn't up to what we expected, the chicken burger was ok but not full of flavour as expected, the beef was good though, as for breakfast, big let down, my mushrooms were swimming in grease, I had 3 or 4 hash browns (also greasy) when I was meant to have scalloped potatoes as advertised, if you don't have what's on the menu, tell people🤦🏼‍♀️, I didn't eat them, I left most of my breakfast, one lovely lady serving 8 of us, we weren't asked if all was ok, coffee & tea was good, sorry but won't be having food there again, Riverside cafe is far better & cheaper (in our opinion), love your room & staff are very pleasant & welcoming, Lisa was lovely & helpful too, sorry I didn't want to be negative about this place, stay for great quirky rooms & view

Great location if it's not flooded. The Severn was up to the 2nd level of barriers when we were there. Great beer and a great team doing their best.

The Mug House is my wife's & I favourite restaurant to go to. When going down the M5 we'll often detour here. Todays visit it was very busy & we sat out the back. We didnt get the usual "homely" feel we do when sitting indoors. Service was a little slower than usual & part of our order was incorrect, however, it was cooked to perfection & all staff when speaking to them were great. Thanks

Felt smarter than the usual pub decour. Several bar areas, a range of real beers. Seating on backed wooden chairs which were comfortable enough. Service prompt and very friendly, efficent staff. Nothing too much trouble. Great location by the river with a few outside tables. Probably best not to have too many drinks given its location ! Certainly considerable smarter than the other pubs closer to the bridge.

A lovely riverside pub serving excellent food. The service was outstanding, the food quality very good and the price very reasonable. We went twice during our stay in Bewdley . The pie was absolutely amazing!
