Great first experience. Team are super friendly and abke to talk through the menu which is great and rare in this day and age. The food was fantastic and also very reasonably priced. Some really good fusion dishes, cocktails on point. Decor fresh and vibrant and bustling atmosphere. Highly reccomend this place for anyone. Well definitely be back, I don't remember our servers name, but please thank everyone working on Thursday the 17th.

I don't know why this place isn't rated higher. The food is outstanding in taste!!! Really really yummy and flavorful. It's a bit expensive but you'd expect that being in Beverly. The portion sizes are good. The ambience and decor is very pretty (including the memorable) bathrooms. They cater for dietary restrictions. Halal, gluten free, vegan all available. I can't wait to go again! Only criticism is that some of the chairs are uncomfortable, but the waitress changed my chair for me when I told her this.

Thought we would try something different and wasn't disappointed it's an asian restaurant with tapas style food . The service was quick and the staff were friendly.

Great new Pan Asian restaurant with welcoming and attentive staff. Able to accommodate a dairy intolerance by adapting some dishes. We had the Omakase, which means the chef chooses each course, all of the food was delicious. Best to book ahead as walk-ins were being turned away.

3rd visit. Fabulous 50th birthday for a table of 10. Staff and service were amazing. We had the bottomless brunch, main course and desert with unlimited drinks, service on the drinks was super fast and the waiting staff were very attentive ready to serve your next drinks. Food was amazing and very tasty. Lovely atmosphere and surrounding, a great experience for all.

We loved this place, I was being treated, and as my host is blind, they could not have been more quietly accommodating. We would definitely go again! Accessibility: Heavy double front door and sharp right to the next not so heavy. Someone held the front one for us. Level entrance. Tables that can adapt for wheelchairs. Level entrance. I suggest a wireless dour bell which would help attract attention if needed. Toilet: Disabled loo, plus one other loo. Spare seats abd high chairs in the approach, I estimate a wheelchair could get through though. Car Parking: A number of disabled 3 hour spaces mixed with loading bays around the corner near ERY Council Offices. Otherwise usually fee paying Beverley Car Parks around the Town. Food: Yum, yum, yum, freshly made to order and just the right quantities. Veggie and vegan options clearly marked and detailed on the menu. As everything is made fresh, you can ask fir some changes. Pud: We were not going to have pud, but decided to share the Rice Pudding, 1st taste, one each! Staff: Excellent, friendly and Knowledgabke

2nd Visit (UPDATE) A revisit to Soju but this time with friend and although the food was lovely and the surroundings are gorgeous, there are some aspects that just put me off choosing to regularly dine here...and I really want to as it is a lovely venue and the food is great. I don't want this to be too critical...but I want this restaurant to succeed and some things need to improve. 1. The price of food I think is high and is a limited menu, particularly for the Tapas style small plates. 2. The tables for 2 are just too small for the dish sizes and if ordering additional side dishes it becomes difficult to manage. We had to get the waitress to take away our side plates and struggled with the space. 3. The service still hasn't improved. The waiting staff are lovely, polite young staff but appear to have very little waiting experience. No knowledge of the food when asked questions before ordering, no check if our meal was OK, no check if we would like more drinks when our glasses were empty and we basically received no further service after our main course arrived. The waiting staff are not checking the room for service and are not applying basic checks for customers. 4. Desserts...we flagged down a rushing waitress for a dessert menu (to be told the dessert menus were limited in number and were with other customers. And still no check if we would like more drinks.... So we waited and realised we had been forgotten, so we flagged another waitress down after 10 minutes and were provided with a photocopy A4 paper dessert menu (perhaps a few more copies to be made?:-) Just 3 desserts was surprising, as was the price at £8.50. After a further 10 minutes ws realised we had been forgotten again, as no-one had further checked if we actually wanted a dessert....so we stopped another passing waitress and requested the bill. 4. The bill has an optional service charge of 10%. Now if the service was good I would have no issue with this...(we paid the service charge on the first visit as we made exceptions for the first night) but after 2 visits I have to conclude the service is not good enough to add a service charge. After some rational debate with my friend we asked the waitress to remove it as the service had just not been good. My friend gave her first time comments as the food being excellent, but is aiming to be a high end restaurant with inexperienced staff. ..and the service is also important and adds to the experience. Just some basic service training for the waiting staff would elevate this place as a dining experience. 1st visit We dined here on the official opening night and enjoyed a lovely meal of top quality Aisan Tapas. The attention to detail on the food and the flavours were superb and the interior design of the whole place and the building restoration is amazing. It is a very relaxed and comfortable restaurant. There is also a lovely upstairs private dining area and restrooms which have also been beautifully renovated. The service was a little slow and haphazard, but this was understandable on the first night..maybe a little bit more education to the staff on the food and drink information and questions they might be asked would help things run smoother. Keeping staff up to date and informed when dishes or drinks have sold out...so they can advise customers when ordering would also be good. Our table was perhaps too small for the Tapas dishes and drinks and was a bit of a squash. Be aware the Tapas dishes arrived 2 at a time, which is acceptable, but is a problem when different dietary requirements of customers leave them waiting for the next dishes to arrive. Overall a brilliant addition, (but a little expensive) to Beverley's restaurant scene and wishing them every success.

My son chose this place tonight for his 10th birthday and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We were a table of 14, including 3 children. As a family who enjoy good food , I can honestly say it was perfect . They brought my son a birthday mocktail, and played/sang happy birthday when bringing his cake out. The two ladies that served us were lovely and very welcoming. The atmosphere, decor and service is brilliant. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

Great service and brilliant selection for a vegetarian, best Japanese style food I've had. The waitress was wonderful and made excellent recommendations. The tofu salad with orange miso dressing was exceptional and the vegetarian sushi was almost as good. I was almost sad to leave!

The decor is gorgeous, The food was incredible however portions were small. The service made us sad as things were taken off our table as though we weren't to be trusted with... The daffodil? Or the chopsticks? Or the napkin rings Other tables were deemed safe to keep their daffodil Just made us feel judged and left a bitter taste especially as we paid a good £70 for two people in what would have been a lovely experience

What a gem. Beautiful food and fantastic service. It is pricey but that's what you pay for great quality and attention to detail. The interior is stunning! You're transported to another place just by stepping in the door. Also, best toilet facilities. I can't wait to go back for a special occasion!
