Nice pub and friendly staff and the best pub for a fry up and I am there almost every Saturday with two of my friends and one of them plus myself started going to Cornerhouse for a fry up in 2006 and it is still going great
Tuesday night, curry night, excellent meals and great service. Super friendly and welcoming staff.
Being a real ale drinker found the Corner House while visiting Beverley, really worth the visit. Good range to ales and meal went down well. 10 out of 10.

Our 1st visit on Sunday we were not disappointed my hubby said one of the best Sunday lunches he's had , I am a coeliac and was catered for very well , but please do GF gravy � I am not bothered about the yorkshire pud but we coeliac love a Sunday roast ... We will be back , ps do you do GF toast � if I come for a breakfast

We have been a few times now and can definitely recommend the food. Everything we had was good quality. Staff friendly and helpful. Will certainly be going back soon.

Quick pint before a curry round the corner was the plan, but felt that comfortable and relaxed I ended up sat at the bar with a roast beef dinner which was excellent.
I really like this pub. Great selection of beers and whiskeys and a very nice atmosphere always.
Another great visit .. Saturday morning breakfast. Bring an appetite. Gorgeous food & generous servings in a nice cozy bar.

Came for late lunch this afternoon. Two sandwiches and plenty of ale. Great food and service. Could not fault, highly recommended.
Was told to contact the corner house by the member of staff at the Tiger. I was told that the corner house had just started serving Sunday Lunches.
Called booked table ,when arrived member of bar staff knew about the booking gave us the table number and directed us to the table.
All bar staff very friendly,good service from the waitress.
Food hot and served well, desert great, coffee was also good.
Overall a great lunch .

The cornerhouse (formally the valiant soldier) is an excellent pub, with a wide choice of changing hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. It is nicely appointed with TV for watching sports. A beer garden at the rear and home cooked food.
We have only started visiting the Cornerhouse since it was taken over. As we live in Beverley we’re always on the lookout for new eating places.
The Cornerhouse didn’t disappoint, the food is fantastic with generous portions especially the duo pies.
The fish and chips are lovely, nice white fish with crispy batter and large fillets.
Great range of beers will keep any real ale fan going most of the day.
Just one niggle which has for me has docked a star to a four star rating, is the volume of music played. Wherever you sit there’s a large speaker and the music can at times kill the conversation, might I suggest it is turned down to a reasonable background level particularly during the day hours and when it is quieter.
Other than that a great pub highly recommended.
Popped in today for a drink and had a Sunday roast dinner top quality food great staff definitely be back and highly recommended

Attended a group Xmas lunch and Sunday lunch with my husband and 2 dogs, excellent both times, staff super attentive and friendly 😊 We will be returning 👍
Delicious meals and generous portions really well presented too. We wanted to sit in shade but it did not detract from what was a beautifully cooked meal for us both. The fish was light and crispy
and the chicken pie with it's perfect pastry a treat. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely day in Beverley. Thank you.
