We had a lovely stay at the hotel for 4 nights. Lovely character room, very comfortable bed, plenty of plug points, ample size fridge, good coffee/ tea making facilities, lovely bath/shower room. Clean & very comfortable. Lovely staff in the restaurant at breakfast & dinner time, we especially enjoyed the breakfast service. Great location, good car park. Beverley is a lovely place to visit, good selection of restaurants, shops, coffee bars & historical places to visit. Highly recommend it.
Booked last minute for a one night easter stay. Think we probably got the last room available due to this, it was small but very nice. Lots of thoughtful touches and white company toiletries. On arrival helpful guy at the private car park, and very pleasant reception staff. Great drinks and lunch in the outside bar which was very busy with a lovely atmosphere. All serving staff were very friendly and looked like they enjoyed their job. Had a drink in the bar in the evening which was busy and again a nice atmosphere. Breakfast fab, very personal service. Cannot fault this hotel for service, amenities decor and location. Would highly recommend and stay again if ever visit Beverley
Such a treat to come to the Beverley Arms. Yes it is a little more, but you certainly get what you pay for. Absolutely beautifully presented food, with so many choices available. The food is always perfect 🙂
Drinks, well there is so much choice. I can recommend the Merlot. We have been there for breakfast... just popped in for a coffee, and had dinner there. No matter what time of the day the standards are very high. Staff always look so smart and nothing is too much trouble. And The Arms itself is just so beautiful and so full of history. Myself and my boyfriend love it there.
Had to travel to Beverley for a funeral. We stayed two nights at the Beverley arms Hotel. Brilliant place parking on site rooms great, great menu and wide selection of beers . The staff are fantastic. Vicki on Reception was great, nothing was too much trouble for her and the restaurant and bar staff were great at their jobs and all very friendly. On one evening our waitress was called Helen, great and friendly who like the rest are good at what They do. We've booked to go back in August for 3 nights and we can't wait.
Great location within Beverley Town centre.
Different options for dining either in in the bar area , the restaurant or in the great set up outside which is covered with blankets and heaters with drinking water for 4 legged friends .
Staff all really friendly and would not hesitate to stay again. PS Breakfast the best I have ever had 🤌
An excellently appointed hotel in the wonderful town of Beverley. The hotel is of a very good standard and has been expertly renovated to provide a great mixture of old and new. Stayed in a feature room that was of a great standard. All the staff are brilliant. We had a meal in the restaurant on one night which was superb.
This place would be lovely if the got rid of the god awful welcome party on the door: I do not need to be greeted by an overzealous cockney and told where I can and cannot sit when I have a booking that she clearly ignored and the muttered about by the grumpy looking quiff wearing bar manager overlooking the interaction: holly I was told her name was by the restaurant staff. The restaurant was fabulous and food to match: recommend the lamb and veg pie and the shank both delicious preparation of my favourite meat, get rid of the bad eggs and this would be a perfect spot.
I really enjoy staying at the Beverley Arms and have been a regular guest for a few years now, with my work. This trip was a leisure stay with my partner and we had a great weekend.
I would say the dining experiences were not as great as you would expect, especially given the service charge. Staff need to be a little more attentive, we had to ask for menus after being seated for dinner.
We also ordered a bottle of wine initially in the bar and this was just left at our table, with no offer of pouring or tasting. Wine glasses were left at the table despite only two of us drinking wine, we had to keep waving at staff to order drinks.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but restaurant experiences were maybe sub-par.
Excellent hotel. High standard throughout. Staff very attentive and helpful. Comfortable rooms with everything you need. Only improvement would have been a fridge in the room.
This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff were really helpful and we were shown to our room by the receptionist. There was a bar of chocolate as a welcome gift . The beds were comfy as were the pillows so we had a good night's sleep. The heating was controllable with the thermostat on the wall . The bathroom was large with a walk in shower and qood quality toiletries were provided. A good touch was a small light behind the toilet which was useful for nighttime visits to the bathroom without having to put the main light on.
We had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners during our stay and the food was well cooked and locally sourced. The orangery was a pleasant place to eat.
The hotel has parking for residents and there is an excellent selection of shops/ eating places in Beverley plus a market on Saturdays.
We will definitely return and would highly recommend a stay at The Beverley Arms.

We had a first-class experience at the Beverly Arms Hotel for a late Saturday lunch. The restaurant's stunning ambiance and well-spaced layout create a beautiful dining atmosphere. The food was exceptional, featuring top-quality produce executed with precision. The staff were exceptionally helpful, and the white glove dinner service added a lovely touch. The gorgeous bathrooms with White Company products were a nice detail. The steak and mushroom pie I had was outstanding, paired with amazing vegetables. The mini dessert and coffee is the perfect way to finish the meal.
Beautiful hotel with so much history and personality.
My wife and | came for lunch and it was utterly delightful.
We were sat in the bright airy glass roofed section of the restaurant and were served by Helen who was knowledgeable about the food and drinks and who's smile was infectious. We opted for the soup which was wonderful and then I had the pie highly recommended by Helen, she was correct it was outstanding, and my wife had the small fish and chips (mushy peas changed to garden peas as requested) we didn't opt for dessert but had a wonderful coffee and biscuit to round things off. Beverley is a great town and this hotel a gem within it.
Lunch for 2 today. Perfect. Very good choice of foods and drinks. Server most helpful. Dining room lovely. A very enjoyable lunch and would certainly recommend.
Would highly recommend The Beverley Arms we went over the Christmas Parade/Markets weekend Thursday to Monday. The staff were lovely as was the room and food. Stayed again 22-25th March. Again, we had a fantastic time.
Excellent place to stay, very friendly, clean and warm. However in our room the pillows were very small and lumpy. So given how good the rest of the place is. The pillows let the room down which is a shame for such a nice hotel
Enjoyed my stay rooms reasonably priced, beautiful clean and tidy rooms, everyone was so helpful, has a carpark within, large nice outside space, and right on the town so plenty of places to explore, really enjoyed my stay! Highly recommend
Absolutely faultless. We are returning for my very special birthday - already booked. Staff amazing, rooms brilliant and food top class. Such good value for money too can't wait to return.
Excellent hotel, which has a long history but has been refurbished to a high standard. Rooms are great and the restaurant evening meal I had was really great. In the centre of Beverley.
