The Green Dragon - Beverley - Photo album

Myself & husband really enjoyed our meal here tonight. I had the smothered chicken & husband had the fiery burger. The food was hot when it got to the table, service was quick & the food was very tasty. We're looking forward to going back, already know what we're having next time.......pizza for me
What an old style friendly pub, great food at fantastic price's. Staff always friendly with cracking selection of beers with sport on for every taste. Highly recommend for both food and drinks and the breakfast menu is top class. I live in Beverley and gets my number 1 vote as the best pub in town.
The Green Dragon in Saturday market is an excellent pub. There is a good selection of beers and lagers including a few cask conditioned hand pulled real ales, the real ales they had on when I visited were all in excellent condition. Although it doesn't look big from the outside the pub goes back a l
Was alovely place, table was sticky though and alot of loud noisy drunk lads in the afternoon. But enjoyed it. Food was quick and tasty.
Excellent bar with high quality & budget friendly food. The staff are always friendly and the food is excellent considering the prices. Atmosphere is lovely too. Perfect in the afternoon for lunch and equally great for a date or night with friends.
Have visited twice for food and a drink. Meals on both occasions were very good - freshly cooked, hot and very tasty. Staff were pleasant and the service was good, with the final bill being good value for money. Will be staying in the area for a while and will come back regularly. I scored it four s
Such a quaint little place, food was great and the staff were so pleasant. The bonus is that it is dog friendly! Our little pooch was a bit cheeky and sat on the seats! Staff offered water for him and were always on hand to help. They accommodated an awkward request of mine to take home a pudding an
Quaint, old pub serving a good selection of food. Dog friendly, which is always a bonus for those of us who take our pooches away on holiday. We had the fish and chips, which were delicious due to the fact that the fish was fresh and in an ale batter. Scrumptious and a welcome change from the usual
Lovely Beverley center pub. Dog friendly and with a beer garden. Great food and good selection of real ales. However when it's busy expect a wait for your food
Great service from local staff who take the time to get to know you. Very friendly & professional staff lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. Would highly recommend for food or just drinks
Visited this afternoon, ordered food off the 2 for £10.50 menu expecting a small portion, no way, fish chip mushy peas and tartar sauce, as big a portion as you would from any fish shop. My wife had chicken fillet burger, full breast fillet, both good quality and great value and a good selection of
Had a lovely meal here, very reasonably priced too. Dog friendly which is a huge plus point.
Called in for a quick bite to eat, a very popular venue, and offer a good range of food. Ordered Tuna Panini and a sourdough pizza. Both came well presented. Fresh ingredients and extremely tasty. Staff were great.
This is a lovely pub not too busy at all, the staff are friendly and serve you quickly so you aren't waiting around. The food tastes great and the prices are very reasonable, I have eaten here twice and never been disappointed. I totally recommend this place for a great place to eat and socialise wi
Used to be a regular haunt for husband in the early days. Last time we visited Beverley we popped in for a beer but as we only drink Real Ale there was nothing we liked but this time there was Oakham Citra on so happy days. It was very busy being a Friday lunchtime. We decided to have food but only
The prices and choices for both food and drink were cheap and plentiful. The staff were friendly. However, there were only a few cocktails and sadly, the best one - espresso martini did not have half the ingredients so couldnt have it. Surprised that stocks would be allowed to run low. Also was char
Very full pub, but it had a great atmosphere. Also, a very good selection of drinks on tap. Which seems to be disappearing nowadays in other establishments. I didn't try the food so can't comment on that. Really enjoyed ourselves in there.
Breakfast is very good value for money, just not keen on sage in the sausages , everything else gets top marks.
Thougherly enjoyed the fish and chips with mushy peas. Chips were the skinny type, I prefer fatter chips but the price was only £10.50 for two people so I've got absolutely no room to grumble. Overhaul great, I will be going again also great range of drinks.
