I went today with my friends and it really was a thrilling experience. It was quiet probably because it’s a weekday but I liked how peaceful and beautiful it was. The decoration was sooo beautiful. I’ve never had Turkish food before so it was quite an experience. My friends and I had sooo much funnnnnnnnnn❤️

We came to Istanbul for my partners birthday this weekend and can honestly say this was some of the nicest food we have had in a long time. Not only was this the best food but the staff and service was outstanding. Such a friendly atmosphere and gorgeous restaurant, the staff could not do enough for you.

We went to the deep and was driving pass Beverly spotted the Turkish restaurant. Really friendly People smiling the place is spotless with warm music. Definitely recommend this place.
It also has lots of vegetarian options and also gluten free.
Great position size for food.
I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Istanbul restaurant. I had a 3 course meal, with a couple of beers(Efes Draft) very refreshing,Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups.

I had the garlic mushrooms which was thriving with flavour. I had the lamb shank which itself was great, the rice was a bit bland but that's my only critique.
The main guy there came over to see if our food was good which was nice and the food was nice.
For our main course 3 people came to check the same thing to see if the food was good. They were just all trying to be helpful which was good.
Would definetaly recommend, they had a nice menu and our food was really good.
If you need to park there is a public car park just opposite. They have a website you can pay otherwise it is cash only. A good thing was the resturant changed a £5 for us so we could pay for parking which was nice.
Had a lovely meal with a colleague. I asked hibiscus 🌺 tea, which they didn't have bit it triggered lots of chat with other guests and instead went for Turkish tea. Brilliant. Thank you for being hospitable.

Accessibility: small steps in, disabled loo is behind one of the main entrance doors when it's open, so help may be required.
Car Parking: drop off but close to the traffic lights, some street parking not far, may be time limited? We parked in Beverley and walked.
Food: Veggie and Carnivore, odd vegan. Vegetarian menu is the main, but with veggie marked (a couple of mistakes, ie meat below a veggie marked, so read carefully).
Staff and Owner: friendly and attentive.
Toilets: main up steep stairs, disabled loo on the ground floor by the entrance doors, one of which requires closing for access.

Went in ok on a Sunday evening, what a fantastic place. The place is decorated well and is clean and tidy. The staff were very attentive and extremely polite. We were walked to our table, the COVID guidelines explained and also the menu. The waitress took our drinks order and left us to decide what to eat.
We went for the warm mezze starter, we were not disappointed. The selection of food was well presented and well cooked. Everything tasted really really good. Then the main event. The mixed grill. It was all extremely tasty. However personally for my taste the lamb was slightly over cooked (this is a personal thing though I appreciate). All the meat was great and the accompanying dishes all really tasty.
The puddings were ok, not bad but not setting the world on fire, however the Turkish coffee was really good.
The service was really attentive throughout, without being overbearing.
The price was very reasonable for the amount of food we are, we left full and very satisfied. A wonderful place that I will deffinatley return to and have recommended to many people already.

Well presented, and excellent service. The portions were a little on the small side . The ambiance was good and we appreciated the Turkish feel of the place. Would we go back? Definately, if we could be guaranteed larger portions.
