Popped in for some food and couldn't fault the place. The two female bar staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, home made, good sized portions and very tasty. Will definitely return in the future.
Lovely little pub for a bite to feed some hungry travellers... welcomed in and seated quick! Food was lovely and hot, (pre-heated plates too) and really really tasty. The dad and daughter duo were spot on and made sure we were looked after :) thanks again!
Excellent service and Great atmosphere. My Wife and I called in to this lovely establishment on the off chance. We were cold and wet from camping in a nearby field. It had been constantly raining and we just wanted somewhere warm and dry to eat. Despite being fully booked and appreciating our predicament a very nice young man called Don. Made every effort to ensure we had a table. With excellent service and a welcoming smile. Great food and Great Beer. Would definately recommend

This place is a little gem. Yes, its fairly standard pub grub, but done really well. Don was a great host, very attentive and catered to all our needs. Service was great and although food was a little slow in coming out, there is only one chef and its worth the wait. They even went across to the kebab shop to get some jalapeños as they had run out. I would highly recommend
Having suffered from throat cancer I have difficulty swallowing and looking at the menu I struggled to find something that I could manage.
I asked at the bar if it would be possible for them to make me an omelette and after a brief check on the egg situation they rustled me up a delicious cheese omelette of the perfect consistency for my barely functioning throat.
Incredibly kind and helpful of them on a busy Friday evening and very much appreciated.

Excellent. Very friendly, accomodating and really welcoming for our first visit here whilst holidaying locally. Felt really looked after. Menu is simple but the food is delicious and there is plenty of it. Thoroughly recommended.
We came here to get some nice warm food while travelling around the area hiking. We saw other guests have the sizzling steak so had that. We also had the garlic prawns, garlic mushrooms and mushroom soup. It was all cooked really well except the mushroom soup which wasn't too our liking. The food seemed cooked fresh and was very tasty! The salad wasn't too fresh but was good enough for us. We drank water but saw there was a good cocktail menu! The prices were really good for us and the service was really good. The waitress was really nice. It was a lovely place and lovely experience. Would come back to try a cocktail and my partner wanted to go back the next day but I voted for Chinese.
Best meal I've had in a while. Will definitely return. Very good staff, and excellent atmosphere.

I came here on my last day in Bethesda, Wales and was pleasantly surprised by how nice this place is! The food was nice and the chef didn't seem put out at all that we came in 15 minutes before end of food orders - 9pm. The whole atmosphere of the pub is great and if I come back to Bethesda I will definitely be coming back!
