A really nice pub to enjoy lunch, afternoon or evening with a beer. The ambience is wonderful and quiet. The service is very friendly. A visit is recommended for everyone.
Really good local community pub for the locals and visitors. Cannot rate the food personally as we have not eaten there but we hear good things from various sources. Great atmosphere.

Great friendly pub, lots of activities going on like quizes and food nights. Perfect for a walk with the dogs.

unplanned visit: we had the carvery. Food was absolutely excellent, service was friendly and the children loved it too. I was impressed with the jug of coffee and my husband said the ice cream was something special. Quiet country pub. Good value for money.
Great pub in center of village
A warm welcome, good beer, nice atmosphere and food to die for... Lovely size beer garden with nice views and there's always something going on (live bands / beer festivals / fancy dress / karaoke etc).
Oh and did I mention they cook a fantastic carvery!
Lovely pub in a small village. Have been there for 3 meals so far and all have been excellent. The pub has some exceptional deals throughout the week, including a 2 for 1 meal. Very good service also.
Atmosphere of a typical English village pub. Two separate bars. One includes a pool table and darts board with access to a spacious beer garden with plenty of seating. The George is as "Traditional" english country pub, a good selection of Beers and Ales at very reasonable prices. The Food is uncomplicated and well priced. The Pub also has a large and well sheltered garden.
They also have two " Beer Festivals" a year in April and September which are well attende
Had a lovely meal with a large group of us and the food was very good, they looked after us all really well and sadly I was driving so could not sample the real ales. A nice local village pub doing well, will be back
Very good food done by a French chef he only uses fresh produce he asked why do they have a freezer! They have two log burners that add to the atmosphere bar staff and the owners are very friendly they serve real ales Sussex Harvey's is always on tap and have 3 other guest ales oh did I mention the
