We dropped into the café for a quick rest and a coffee. The que to be severed was rather lengthy, but not a lot can be done about that. It's just bad timing.
The premises were clean and tidy, and the staff were non-stop seeing to all the customer needs.
Thankfully, I have a phone contract with 3, so I had the choice of any coffee for £1. This was really appreciated in that moment of time.

Nice place, tea is 5p more expensive than the Costa down the road. I wanted lemon tea but they didn't have any, so I bought regular tea but they didn't offer any milk but they were nice and gave me lemons to put in my tea. The place seems clean and well kept, but there's no internet like Costa unfortunately. The cafe inside is a little cramped, but the chairs are more comfortable than Costa. The baristas seemed nice, but next time I might buy something else.. or ask for milk.
I often go there for a coffee ☕ or a cake...place is nice very clean though and black coffee is lovely and cakes even better...one day I had a prawn sandwich 🥪 been pekish and it was lovely 😍 too...I like the fact they have an outdoor sit too but place inside is very spacious...staff are friendly and toilets available 😀 too...I like café Nero in general visited some in Edinburgh too but I think this is a popular place in Edinburgh because its right in the middle of Berwick Town just near taxi rank which is beneficial.

Place is clean, had a blast playing "who wants to be a millionaire?" with the books they have on the back shelf. Music and atmosphere are perfect for reading, studying, talk with friends or just enjoy the best coffee in town.
They offer free WiFi and free iced water. Toilets are clean.
Went in to get a drink. Staff were friendly, even allowing me to take my dog inside with me and out of the cool windy Street. The smoothy drinks are nice and fresh. The coffee is better than other places.
The cakes look fresh and very tasty.
