Went for a sit down meal on a Monday and it was very quiet as out of season. Poppadoms were a little bland and the dips weren't to my taste, no flavour at all.
However the main meals of chicken dopiaza and chicken dhansak were both excellent as were the onion pillau, mushroom pillau and peshwari naan bread.
Service was good and the building was interesting as it looked like an old pub on the outside but was decorated as Indian restaurant within with some delightful lights.
Overall a good meal.
Interestingly when we asked to take the leftovers (about half if each meal) away they brought us a couple of polystyrene boxes and we packed it ourselves which was something I haven't experienced before.

Magna Tandoori is a lovely restaurant. The staff are always very welcoming, friendly and nothing is a problem to them. They always make your night feel special, The food is absolutely delicious. portions are a good size. Would recommend here to any one looking for a great meal. In a lovely restaurant.
Stopped here on the way back home from Edinburgh good food and service, chicken madras 😋 was one of the best I've had in a while definitely worth a visit
Wanted an Indian Takeaway and this one came up on maps in the area. I realised I had been here a good few years ago when last in the area. Food was very tasty huge pieces of chicken in the curry. God value for money. The only thing I would say is the onion bhaji was too doughy for my liking. I would prefer more onion ratio. Apart from that very good.
Our favorite Indian restaurant! Great food, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. We keep coming back and are amazed that the Magna Tandoori exceeds our expectations every time! Any friends we brought along loved it just as much!
The Magna Tandoori was amazing! The decor is beautiful, the staff was nice and efficient. The food was superb. Best of all was the fact that because I have allergies they came out to me to make sure what I could and could not have. The cook made a delicious dish that was not on the menu to go with my dietary restrictions. Blessings on them and I see why my fiancee loves going there.
We have been eating at this family run restaurant for years. The food is amazing and the staff are always very friendly. They are a valuable part of our community.
We come to Berwick twice a year in the caravan, the absolute highlight of our trip is a visit to this amazing restaurant. Absolutely the best we’ve ever had (and believe me we’ve tried a lot!)

A very enjoyable experience last night (Sunday) at this restaurant. A family group of 8 with very different requirements for food and drink. We all agreed that everything was spot on. Highly recommend this venue.
I've been coming to this restaurant for years now and I have never had any complaints, the food and service are always first class. I usually get the chicken jalfrezi and it is always full of flavour, however, I have also tried the chicken tikka and dhansak which again both taste delicious. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the interior is amazing, as a final note the onion bhajis are the best I have ever had.
We had a lovely meal here that was exceptional in every way. The staff went above and beyond to give us recommendations about the variety of curries that was on the menu .
The whole experience was the best we have in a restaurant and would highly recommend the "Magna Tandoori " .
The food was delicious and we will remember this, alongside the staff who made it special.
This is a fantastic Indian restaurant which I visit on a regular basis whether it is to sit and have a family meal or to grab a takeaway. The food never fails to deliver on quality and the staff go above and beyond on every occasion. You can't miss out on a meal here if you are in Berwick, excellent in all aspects.

Been there since 1982 tells you a story. Looks like an Indian, sounds like an Indian, smells like an Indian. Its an Indian. GR8 atmosphere, GR8 food, GR8 service. Can't beat it.
