Great quality food, nice and fresh and very flavoursome. Good with allergies and dog friendly inside too. My only gripe is that some of the seating is taken up with some regulars there to enjoy their afternoon pints of beer which makes for some awkward conversations
I visited here twice this week, first for a vegetarian Sunday roast which was amazing! The second time for a halloumi flat bread with chips aid stocky toffee pudding which was also amazing. The staff are lovely and make you feel very welcome. There are limited vegetarian options but the ones I had, I would have again.
Regularly head to Foxtons when down at the family caravan. The low reviews are frankly bizarre. Never had a bad meal, bad service or any need to complain about anything.
Food is cooked well. Priced well and served with a smile. I have recommended to numerous people to dine here and all have had a wonderful experience. Looking forward to getting back asap
Wow! Best cooked breakfast I’ve had in Berwick without a doubt! Had a delicious coffee to go with it too. Couldn’t fault our experience here at all. Super dog friendly too❤️❤️
Dog friendly, allergy friendly, Bar/Restaurant. Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff.
Our first visit, but had had lots of recommendations. Service excellent, both meals were delicious and served in a very reasonable time, especially considering how busy it was. Good choice on the menu. Table booking a must, we rang Saturday afternoon and they fitted us in thankfully. Staff attentive and friendly.
Think waitress was new, mucked up a wee bit with order but was nice enough.
Starter: Vegetable kebab/skewer was bit bleak/basic.
Main: Steak was the best steak I have eaten at a restaurant, cooked perfectly, sides were delicious and just the right amount for it, there was no grizzly fat through it, and charred just the right amount - only criticism is red wine jus was not very flavourful.
Dessert: Good standard banoffee pie.
Would go back for main/dessert.
Great service, great food. I had the The Bridges Burger - wasn't sure if pastrami would work well on a burger but took a punt and can recommend. My wife had the soy and maple glaze salmon which she also enjoyed.
What a great place! Interesting menu - though we were very trad for a Sunday and had roast beef. Well cooked and presented, excellent staff who seved us very quickly as, unfortunately, we were on a very tight timetable. Very early evening, but as busy as it could be!!
Visited foxtons with a group of friends on a busy Saturday night. Little bit of confusion over our table on arrival (could be my accent) but some of our group were already there.
We all ordered drinks and they arrived quickly, cocktails were amazing 🤩
Food was not as amazing I ordered the pate as a starter and it was a bit dry and crumbly, couldn't spread it on my bread.
For a main I ordered the Traitors Gate burger which was fantastic but the sides were a bit on the small side.
One of our party ordered the lamb curry 5 mins after ordering they were told there were no nann breads available. Then when food came it was a very small portion with only 3 pieces of meat in.
Our server took it back to the kitchen and they did make a fresh one, but obviously this took some time. The fresh version was significantly larger in size and meat volume, but they had taken the soggy bread from her previous plate (the nann replacement) and put it on the new dish. I understand that we need to reduce wast but after a 10+ minute wait for a new dish surely a new slice of bread would not have been unreasonable.
The rest of the party all very much enjoyed our food and the sticky toffee pudding dessert was beautiful.
There was a lovely atmosphere and we had a great night despite the blips.
