The location is lovely and the outside is clean. There is a good sized car park to the side. A play area for children is a lovely addition along with nice outdoor seating. On entering the pub we were greeted by a friendly face and quickly shown to our table. Our order was taken by a very friendly lady and drinks arrived quickly. Sadly the food let the whole experience down. Very average and not the most tasty. Considering the prices, I expected better

Today was the second time we've visited and we were again very impressed by the service and the welcome you receive on entering, they made a huge fuss of the dog, service was very fast with little wait time, food was very nice with generous portions and a large menu to choose from, throughout the whole meal were made to feel welcome. Couldn't fault any part of it will definitely visit again. As a side note I would recommend calling to book in advance to guarantee getting a table as it is a popular place.

Popped in for a late lunch. Friendly welcoming staff, great sized portions with prompt service. Good looking outdoor seating area for those sunny times. Good value for money too

We have just spent a week in llanbister, we were told the Horseshoes was great for food although a bit of a drive, 30 mins. We called for Sunday lunch, the food was amazing and the staff and manager most accomodating and polite. We then called a further 3 times trying a different meal each time, all i can say is the food each time was exceptional ans the staff most polite and couldn't do enough for us. I would highly recommend this place if passing or staying locally. 5 stars. 👍🏻👍🏻

Had an excellent meal here, with our 2 dogs allowed in (and fussed so much by the staff). The food was super, a reasonable price and they had a brilliant choice of craft beers to choose from.

Lovely meal, busy and was warned of a delay for food because of a large group having arrived but meals still arrived within 20 mins or so. Nice staff.

Lovely atmosphere, great to bring the dogs along for my father in laws birthday meal.... staff very welcoming. Food was great. Only disappointment was no lemon meringue pie for those of us who wanted to order it. Would recommend this eatery.

Stopped by in passing and from a varied menu selected traditional 'fish and chips' which were cooked to perfection. Excellent meal, such tasty fish, thank you.

Wow. Visited today 15th August. Staff were so polite and accommodating. Food was amazing. We had lasagne, gammon, lamb burger and a halloumi burger. All was perfectly cooked. Never had a halloumi burger that melted in your mouth (normally people over cook it and you need a chainsaw to cut through it). This melted along with the softly toasted bun. Will definitely visit again.

Only stayed for lunch which was lovely, two courses plus drinks for two was just over £50.00 not bad these days. Friendly helpful staff and dog friendly too.
