Brownlow Cafe - Berkhamsted - Photo album

Lots of tasty treats, some vegan choices. Only outdoor seating so dress warm if needed. Very dog friendly! They even sell dog treats...
Really slick service. Lovely cafe with decent food. Outdoor seating under large parasols so can eat there, whatever the weather.
Brilliant little cafe. The food is good and well priced, the environment is great and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Lovely homemade apricot flapjacks, great for a post run treat. Outdoor seating so was damp today. Need to manage the queues to improve the service
Long queue on a cold day but worthwhile. Reasonably-priced food and drinks, good quality. We both enjoyed our meals. Food order came quickly too, once we'd finally made it to the front of the queue to order! Cakes looked really good, sadly didn't get to try them.
Excellent food and service. Also very good value for money. The Brownlow Breakfast was perfectly cooked and used quality ingredients and is well worth the very reasonable price. I found the staff to be quick and efficient and I cannot understand complaints about having to wait unless people are unr
The whole family, including dogs, went for a morning walk in Ashridge. We returned to the car with a roaring appetite and Brownlow Cafe fed us well! This is a no-nonse place that will give you a decent meal at a good price. The food is simple but well prepared. We particularly like it because they
Really good cafe in a clearing in Ashridge ( though there is disabled parking right outside). Excellent range of food, soups, great rolls, huge full breakfast, scones and cream ( they're big enough to share), jacket potatoes, all wholesome and reasonably priced ( it is independent of the National Tr
You might not want to go if it's raining (although as everybody else is at home, you will get instant service!). In truth it's great any time. A must for dog walkers; there is only outside seating and the floor has numerous water bowls for dogs (don't trip up!). The breakfasts are terrific and the c
Busy day with a short que though it went down quickly, food came out quickly and was incredibly tasty. Great value and loads of space to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Staff were smiley engaging and really helpful. Thank you
Excellent cafe, they do a BBQ in summer and it has one of the best burgers. All the food I’ve had was very good. Lovely seating looking over the Estate and only outdoors. Staff are good. Can get busy at peak hours in good weather
Perfect end to a lovely walk. No matter what The weather we always have a cuppa and piece of cake. There's always a queue but that just confirms how nice the cake is. Selection of hot food or sandwiches available also. Dog friendly also.
Had some excellent soup here - the chef really knows how to cook properly; it's not reheated pre-prepared food but good quality made from scratch dishes. Service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend this place. Very pleasantly surprised.
Excellent cafe near the monument with homemade cakes and good prices. Ultra friendly staff. No indoor seating for the cafe, though the plentiful outdoor seating is perfect. One con is the Scone and cream, which is whipped not clotted. Had they advertised it as a 'cream tea' I would have been quite u
The seating are (all outside) was clean and had plenty of room, the lady who served us was friendly and upbeat and the scenery is beautiful. As for the actual breakfast we had, it was delicious, and well priced. Really good start for the busy day we had exploring!
Food and drink is good quality. Can have a bit of a wait to be served during the busiest times but think that the food is worth the wait. No indoor tables so you may want to tailor your visit for times when the sun is shining.
